Please Don't Be Mad

Son people look on when Jay leaves with Daisuke. But he was a bit oblivious to notice that. He got in the front of the cop car withher and obeys her warning. "N-No...You dont have to do anything. Jay looks around at all of the gadgets and stuff in the front.

Since he wasn't being handcuffed or anything like that it wasn't much of a scene. When he answered her she jokingly sounded disappointed as the thought of making Lina maybe freak out over it would be a bit amusing. On the way she asks him what brings him here. All she knows is he'll be with Lina for a few days.

Lina didnt ell her.

"Ah...Well um...Im here to talk to her about my participation in an upcoming belt. One that's been vacant for a while." He looks away to hide a slightly blushes face from the woman.

"Oh?" She wondered which one that was, but wouldn't press the issue if he didn't want to. She does mention to him that him being here for a bit might be good Lina was well. She's been doing alright with her anger management stuff but it would be good to see another familiar friendly face.

Jay decided quickly to tell her. She may find out sooner or later. And at least it would be from him. "Its the um...Hentai belt. Thats the ome Im going to make make attempt towards." He dare not lookat her directly when saying that to Daisuke. But he did look at her out of the corner of his eye.

She didn't expect that from him, but didn't judge him for it. "Dunno why you'd want to do that but ok." They would arrive there a couple minutes later. "You sure you don't want me to lead you inside in handcuffs?" she asks in an obvious teaseful tone.

Jay was a bit shy about telling people. Then again, he never was one to be a social man teen or child. Not that much at all during his life. He thought for a moment when she offered to lead him in with handcuffs on. "Mmm....A-Alright, fine. Lets do that then."

If he told her why she'd listen, if not she's shrug but still wish him well with it. Before they get to the door she pulls his wrists behind his back and cuffs him while whispering "Make it look convincing alright?" She then rings the door bell once they are by the door.

Lina guesses it is them but looks surprised to see Jay in handcuffs. Daisuke tells Lina she caught him doing some bad things at the airport." Before she can make up what the charges are Lina looks upset. "The good news is I can get him off as a favour but you owe me." Lina is about to give the typical 'how could you' statement to Jay, but before she can Daisuke would say "Gotcha" which hopefully Jay said it as well. Lina does not look thrilled with the prank but Daisuke admits it was all her idea and Jay was actually on time and good company on the ride. This was actually a good test for Lina as she wanted to clobber Dai for the joke but didn't. She told her not scare her like that with Jay again. Daisuke does apologize and takes the cuffs off when Lina asks Dai if she can leave the cuffs behind 'just in case.'

Daisuke wonders what is meant by that and tells her she needs these but can drop her off another pair, but will check her car to see if she has any more on hand. Daisuke went to check and came back with news that she thinks she can spare that set. Lina recalled though she might have a pair of her own anyway from when Dai gave her one a while back. Daisuke remembered that and jokingly says "You two love birds behave" before leaving. Lina looks relieved that Jay isn't in actual legal trouble and tells him to come in.

Jay nodded and put o his best. 'Im fucking pissed at myself for getting caught' face and walks with Daisuke. While she talked to Lina, Jay rolled his eyes and shook his head. He would be able to say "Gotcha" at the same time as Daisuke and gave a small laughter as he shook his head.

He kept it to himself, but was surprised a bot when Lina didnt up and beat the both of them or shred them to pieces with a sharp tongue. He didnt see the small transaction of handcuffs between Lina and Dai. Lina invites Jay in and he does so. He stands by the door with his hands in his pockets. "Boy...Its been a while since I've been in the Western Hemisphere....Thanks for letting me stay here a few days, Lina."

“It’s alright Jay.” She tells him. “We both could use the company.” She has a feeling he might know of what she’s been through lately if Lita got hold of him at all over the past two-three weeks or so. She’ll let Jay settle in until bringing up, or until he brings up what he talked about on the phone earlier.

If Jay had a knack for that sort of thing he could tell Lina was spending the past few hours or so cleaning up around here. Though when they got off the phone it wasn’t that bad but she still wanted things to look good for him. She did get a chance to clean up herself before he arrived though.
