Please Don't Be Mad

'Nah. No ideas as to whom it could be. Melissa pretty much left me, and probably everyone else, in the dark about her plans. I may not even be in a handicapped match for all I know...The part that worries me the most is that..." He was shy about saying it. "Lets just say I have a lot of uh...Endurance. But Im not sure what Im gonna do back to the opponent. "

Lina became silent for a moment when he said what he did. She wasn't sure what to suggest but she still wants to help him. "Maybe it might be best if you came over here and we discussed it more." Maybe them being in the same room might spark something she thought. "How soon can you get here?"

Jay bit his lip. He was no stranger to having to travel somewhere far. But there were some things needed to be asked be for he hoop on a plane to go see Lina.

"I wouldnt mind at all. I would take a plane to go see you. But...Where are you exactly? "

She tells him where to go, as well as when he might be by so she can be around for him when he gets here.  "How long do you think you might stay for?"  There was room for him but she usually doesn't have people staying for an extended period of time.

"Thats...Thats far. But I'll be there. I think a few days will be what I need. Sorry if thats a while for you. I'll be fine with crashing on your couch if I need to. I'll see you then." Jay hung up the phone, and then began to redial.

After a few tones, a voice answers. "Hello?"

Jay clears his throat. "Y-Yes. Hello Beth. Its me, Jay. Is Lucia there? .....Good, put her on speaker." He pauses to allow his mothers time to listen in. "Im heading on a trip. To Canada. I-I'll be back in a few days, have to meet with my manager."

"Thats fine. Be safe, son."

And the next day, Jay would be on a plane to Canada...

She had no problem with him staying for that long, it was just something that usually didn't happen. Things were alright since Jill left but thought about maybe touching things up a bit. It would take him a fair amount of time to get here so he decided to space it out so things wouldn't unexpectedly overwhelm her.

Speaking of Jill, Lina decided to give a friend of hers a quick call before getting started. Nothing major on her mind, just updating on what's going on and how she's been since Jill left. Though if she didn't pick up she did have someone else in mind to call though. Either way when she hung up she felt a little bit more motivated. Sure even if she didn't do that after talking with Jay she'd be fine, but that surely kick started her attitude in the right direction and the mindset to get things accomplished. She hoped she could help Jay out, but one thing at a time for now.

The plane trip was long. That was at the least. Jay had fallen asleep on the flight and woke back up to be on the same flight.

But in time, he would arrive in Canada. Jay looked around the airport a bit. He would carry his bag over to a seat and take that seat.

After a few minutes a female police officer came up to Jay, thought the face would be a recognizable one. It has been a while since these two have seen each other, but she does remember him. "Jay?" If he could not recall the face or the person's voice she would remind him who it is, Daisuke. She tells him that Lina asked her to pick Jay up for her since she doesn't want to keep Jay waiting as she's getting caught up with things. Hope hopes that her being in uniform didn't startle him.

He notices the officer. But he didnt pay her too much mind until...She approached him and revealed her identity to him. "D-Dai....What are you doing here?" He didnt know it was her until she told him. Daisuke tells Jay that she was sent to puck him up. He grabbed his bag and slung it Ive his shoulder. 

"Alright...Shall we go then, officer?"

She nods at him. "You don't have to be formal like that, it's not like I'm arresting you...unless you want me to pretend I am when I drop you off." When they get to her cop car she lets him ride up front with her but warns him not to touch anything.
