AV 15 Iron Woman Match: Natasha Han Vs. Valley Doll

Valley was crying. She wasn’t sure why, but she was.

Was it sadness? She’d lost, sure, but she’d lost before and she’d surely lost again. She’d given it her all and proved doubters wrong. No one - not Taylor, not her Mom, not any of the people who’d treated her like dirt and made her feel like she’d never get anywhere in this company -  could take this away from her. She’d done something few wrestlers could even dreamn about doing in their careers. She’d gone the distance. She was an Iron Woman. They both were.

Maybe it was happiness. Maybe.

She didn’t question it. For now, she just laid there, still on the floor, her eyes shut tight, until Natasha collapsed beside her again. ”Con…” Valley ran out of breath before she could even finish the word. She took a deep gulp, licked her lips, and tried again with fuller lungs. ”Congratulations, Han. Good match. Good…”

She weakly reached out, searching for Natasha’s hand. She had to hold. She wasn’t sure why on that, either, but she did.

Natasha closed her eyes, laying there in an unmoving heap beside of the Slamazon. This felt good. This felt nice, just lying there, finally getting to rest, finally getting the chance to recover. She and Valley had pushed each other to the absolute limits, and finally they were getting the chance to rest off some of their weariness.

She smiled, just a little bit, as she felt Valley's hand touching against her own. She offered her no resistance, instead spreading her fingers, letting the blonde take her hand in her own.

"T...thank you..." she whispered quietly, her words weak, her breathing ragged and difficult. She had no energy left, but she still forced herself to talk, to answer Valley's congratulations. There was no more hatred for the woman. No more dislike or anger. There was only respect for her, nothing more, and nothing less.

She was quiet for a moment, trying to gather her strength, then she whispered again to the Slamazon, a slight chuckle in her voice. "I...cannot move. I d..d-do not think I will be leaving on my...my own..."

”Hey, watch it.” Valley playfully slapped Natasha’s hand away after a moment. ”Got a girlfriend, you’ll make her jealous.”

Valley tried to laugh, but she cut it off when she realized that even that hurt for some reason. Really, any sort of exertion at all seemed like a bad idea. She was content to just lay there and enjoy the moment. Let the applause soak over her.

”Yeah, I’m kaput.” She opened one eye and saw the referee jogging up the ramp, likely checking on the med team. Taking their sweet time. ”Got a little time until they come and take us away, though. Don’t suppose you know any good Russian jokes?”

"Nein," Natasha answered, a light chuckle passing her lips. "No jokes. I am not much for one of joking."

She went quiet again, then opened her eyes, looking towards the outside of the ring as the med team began to rush down, quickly entering the ring and hurrying to the side of the two fallen women. The Russian closed her eyes again, letting them tend to her, and eventually they began to load her onto a stretcher after determining she really couldn't move or get up.

As they began to lift her up, she rolled her head towards Valley, opening her eyes and giving Valley one more soft smile.

"I am being glad...that this is over..." she muttered quietly, before going quiet again, resting as the medical team began to carry her off.
