Rodents at a Cafe

It seemed like the food was done, Conza was just setting the table. She sat down in front of one of the plates. "It looks pretty good." She smiled. She'd been expecting something a bit less formal than this, but this wasn't something to complain about.

"Thank you very much. I try to make food pleasing to the stomach and eyes." Comza set the utensils down for Gail. "Go on and dig in. Would you like something to drink? I have regular cola or some wine that pairs very well with the quail if you would like."

Cola would be fine, but it didn't seem right to match a serious dinner with some cheap soda. "I'd like to think even you could figure which one I'd prefer." Gail prods him in the cheek. Despite his rather... strange request earlier, Conza wasn't a bad find after all.

He gives her a small grin and a giggle when she poked him.. "I'll get you some wine Miss Gail." Conza grabs two glasses and puts a few ice cubes in them from the freezer. He then gets a wine bottle from a rack next to the fridge. Opening it, he pours them each a glass

Ice cubes? For wine? That seemed a little... actually, who the hell did that? Gail frowned a little, but didn't bother bringing it up, she wasn't exactly an expert with wine. It was verrrry strange though. The wine itself was a nice pale golden hue. She takes it by the stem, clinking it against his glass. "Alright, you really did go all out, huh?"

The wine had a bit of sweetness, and it was quite pleasant. "Mmm... I hope you aren't planning to get me drunk or anything... although if you were, it might just be working~"

Conza had only picked up his glass when Gail clicked it against his. He smiles and takes the first sip with her. "If anything, Im surely more a lightweight than you are." He gives her a small wink and began to dig into the quail with his knife and fork.

"You say that when you have a wine rack in your dorm? I'm not thaaaat dumb." She cut into the little piece of meat, the smell of the veggies coming out. And of course, it tasted great. "Mmm... I might have to come by again for some lessons."

He makes a sushing laugh. "It is mostly for display. But first you, I make the exception." It was very true that he was a lightweight. Ine or two glasses could have him dancing around. He smiles to hear that she enjoyed the food, and said she should come again for lessons. "That would be very nice"

"That's a pretty expensive display then... Even for a rich kid like you." Gail was already halfway through her glass. "I know I said you guys are all alike but..." He didn't really fit the description of big burly wrestler dude. And not just physically, Conza was really... reserved, and even a little... girly. "Ah, nevermind."

He swallows his food and chuckles. "I wouldnt exactly call myself rich. If it were like that, then I would have a much better place." He sees that she was almost done. Conza slowly pushes the bottle closer to her.

"....B-But...What?"
