Painting the Town Red(headed)

"Heehee, it's pretty neat right?" Emma grinned. Of course, the first thing she would do was make a beeline right for the bar, very quickly catching the attention of one of the bartenders. "One Suntory Yamazaki on the rocks! And uh... What do you want Juni?"

"Neat? Is that what you call awesomeness?" She says sarcastically. Juniper follows her new friend closely to the bar and sits down next to her. "Gimme a Sex On The Beach." She says, flipping her red and black hair.

"Ooh nice choice~" Emma giggled, leaning over against the bar as they waited for their drinks to arrive. Trying to make some small talk to pass the time, she leaned over and gave Juniper a soft nudge with her shoulder. "So what kinda stuff do you usually do for fun?"

"Hmm...Well, I've done a lot of wrestling here, and prior to the six months. Funny, you don't find a lotta good music from America here. Sure, you find some but none is all that heavy." She shrugged. "So, I spend a lot of my free time designing motors and other auto parts."

"Ooooh wow, that's cool!" It seemed like Juniper was quite the tomboy. While they didn't appear to have very much it common, other than the AFW thing of course, just something about this woman intrigued Emma. She considered pressing a bit further, but the bartender returned with their drinks. Giving him her credit card to open a tab, along with a small tip of course, Emma held up her drink towards Juniper. "To new friends and a fun night?"

She grins widely, as was starting to be her trademark. "Yeah. My dad and I fixed up cars all the time back home. He owns an auto shop. It give great business, and supports the family." Ooh! Her drink! Juniper was about to start drinking, but Emma wanted to raise the glass.

"And to being awesome, don't forget that!" Juniper added as they clink their glasses together

"Of course!" Emma smiled as they completed their toast, taking a long sip of her whiskey. Relishing the cold, yet burning sensation as the amber liquid slid down her throat, she ended it off with a very satisfied sigh. Booze always tended to bring out unwanted emotions in people, Emma being no exception. She did feel some envy at the way Juniper talked about her folks. Her own relationship with her parents was not bad, but in no way was it close either. There were times where she wanted to try and reconnect with them, but it had been so long, she wasn't sure what she would say. They also definitely would not approve of her current lifestyle either, so that was also kind of a thing.

Juniper didn't chug such an elegantly crafted drink. She sipped on the straw that came with. She smiles win tasting the sweetness of the drink. There was alcohol, but without the taste. "Yeah...I miss home. Don't tell anybody, but I miss my mom even more." Juniper tells Emma as she takes another sip

"Hehe, don't worry, your secret's safe with me!" Emma giggled. It was only proper drinking buddy etiquette after all. Taking another smooth sip on her drink, the red-headed drunk could feel her buzz starting to kick in again. "To be honest, I don't really miss my home at all. It was always so boooooooring."

"She taught me to be a free spirit. Mom was a 'hippie' as authority put it. She was my inspiration to rebel from everything and everyone and make me do whatever I wanted." She pauses to look at Emma. "Jeez, leave some for the fish, silly!"

She laughs a bit at her own joke. "You don't miss home? How could you not miss your familiy? Shoot, I miss 'em....Mom's gonna be 65 this year."
