Alex Withers vs Hummingbird- Hardcore Submission Match

As Hummingbird grasped Alex beneath the shoulders, rising her to her feet, she shook her head for a moment to try and shake out the pain. Her opponent's response, however, made her realize that perhaps complimenting your opponent in a no-holds brawl was not the best idea. This was only compounded as she was hurtled towards the ropes, with only enough reaction time to spin herself around and hurtle back towards Hummingbird at full speed.

Seeing Alex bounce back, Hummingbird knew that she had to live up to her name in order to stop such a speed. Her eyes would narrow to her opponent coming her way and she would be in her defensive stance to show that she's ready to take Alex down again. Once Alex was close, she would attempt to grab her and toss her into the air.

If this worked, the impact of the landing should make Alex more vulnerable. If it doesn't work though, she'll be run over.

Alex didn't really have the time to figure out what she should do as she rocketed off the ropes back towards her opponent. In the shows she'd watch as a kid, a clothesline was the simplest way to make this position work, but she was already running right at Hummingbird and destined for a head-on collision. She placed her arms in front of her face as she braced herself for a collision, but she found herself in shock when said collision didn't come. Instead, she felt Hummingbird's delicate hands wrapping around her body before she was sent into the air, and crashing hard into the mat.

Hummingbird was successful in getting Alex up and high before crashing back down. She wanted to keep the momentum going, so she rushed over to her opponent as quickly as possible. The pink-haired girl would then try to grab Alex's right arm as she placed her legs sideways across her body to hold her down.

If this worked, Hummingbird would wrench that arm a bit in an armbar.

Alex's head spun for a moment as the impact of the mat shook her focus. By the time she came to, Hummingbird was already wrapping herself around her right arm and pressing her pelvis into her elbow. Alex knew what was coming next, but had neither the training nor the focus to know how to prevent it. As Hummingbird wrenched at her arm, she gritted her teeth, clawing at the mat with her other hand in pain. After a few moments, she attempted to shift her body in Hummingbird's grip so that she could swing her other fist right into the girl's stomach.

Hummingbird would wrench that arm as best as she could as long as she had Alex. She could see her clawing at the mat with her other hand, which indicated that it's taking its toll. But she didn't expect her opponent to roll up and land a good hit on her.

"OOF!!" Hummingbird coughed out as she released Alex from the hold. She would lightly push her opponent away before rolling backwards and rubbing her stomach to try and relieve the pain.

Alex rose to her feet and rubbed her arm, which was already starting to feel weak. For once, though, she had the upper hand, and planned to make use of it, grabbing her opponent by the arms and standing her up, facing Alex. Assuming Hummingbird hadn't recovered yet, she'd take the opportunity to deliver a headbutt to her more graceful opponent.

As Hummingbird was still clutching her stomach for the moment, Alex would grab her by the arms and make her stand up. When she looked up to her opponent, she was met by her oncoming headbutt. "UGH!!" she cried out as her head jerked back.

But in doing so, Hummingbird would try to take the pain and headbutt Alex back to see if she can match her power against her opponent.

Alex grinned when she saw that her headbutt was successful, it was totally a crap-shoot for her. She hadn't really planned out an attack, she just did whatever she thought looked cool, and that seemed to be working out for her. So she hadn't really planned out what she would do if Hummingbird had tried the same move back.

The return headbutt caused Alex to stagger a bit, taking a step back and grasping her head as her ears rang loud. The girls were about equal in strength, but Alex also didn't know how to deliver a proper headbutt, and had essentially just taken two of them.

But Alex wasn't alone, Hummingbird would rub her own head as it was a little painful for her too. Of course, that shouldn't stop her now since she got her advantage back. Seeing Alex staggering back, the pink-haired girl would shake her head a little before rushing forward to confront her.

Once she was there, she attempted to give two punches to the face before a kick to her opponent's stomach to make her double over. If this worked, Hummingbird would send her over to the turnbuckle.
