Hardcore Tag Battle!

Her elbow ramming into Styx's side, Kaede smiled as she got the violent woman under control as she quickly took advantage. Pressing herself against Styx, she would try and wrap Styx's arms over the top rope and grab her by the wrists, hoping to trap her on the ropes as quickly as she could and open up the torso area. With a smile on her face, Kaede once again targeted the side of Styx and looked to bury a knee into it.

Smashing her knee in, Kaede would push the tip of her knee into Styx's side after the hit, to really drill in the pain before stepping back, pulling on Styx's wrists to straighten up her opponent before she attempted another knee strike to the side as Kaede eyed those brass knuckles on Styx's hand.

Somewhere, deep in the torrid recesses of Styx's mind, she appreciated Kaede's technique. When the woman saw an opening, she went for it, brutally and effectively, with cold  and practiced ease. On the same side, they could probably do some real damage. 

But that was a thought for another time. A time when Kaede's knee wasn't tickling her esophagus. 

The first strike left her gasping and the second one didn't even leave her with enough air for that. She folded over at the power from Kaede's blows, going down to one knee while she let out a few weak moans. In the chaos of it all, the brass knuckles slipped over her fingers and fell to the side., but she was suffering too much to really process it. Needing a few moments to recoup, she tried to push Kaede away with one hand, while the other grabbed the ropes to hoist herself back up.

Plowing her second knee into Styx's side, Kaede smiled gleefully as she dug her knee deeper into the wounded side. Feeling the skin grind against Styx's, Kaede placed her foot down into the mat to gather enough force to do another brutal knee into the side. However Styx found enough the strength to push Kaede off as the judo girl staggered backwards. Catching herself, Kaede was about to jump back in with the punishment as something caught her eye.

The brass knuckles of Styx fell off as ideas flooded her head as she picked up the weapon. Slipping them on her gloved hand, Kaede held up her fist as she walked back to her opponent. Reaching for a handful of hair, Kaede forced Styx to look at her in the eyes, her cold yet joyful eyes as she pressed her brass knuckle fist into Styx's forehead before pulling her hand back and went to slam her fist into Styx's head, unlike her knees it was meant to be short and weak, as Kaede planned to rain down more punches just like that.

Well, shit, that went downhill in a hurry.

Styx staggered back and tried to take a few seconds to recover. She was still in this, far from done, especially when had her equalizers. Like her brass knuckles. Which she was missing. She'd been so busy trying not to puke that she hadn't really noticed where they'd fallen to.

She found them soon enough when Kaede pressed them against her face, brought them back and gave Styx a hard taste of her own medicine. Her world filled with stars, flashed out of consciousness for a second, then came back with screaming pain throughout her skull.The blow didn't hurt nearly as much as it could have, but that was probably the point. Kaede was drawing it out, making the pain last. They had a lot more in common than she'd initially realized.

Styx fell to her side, groaning, trying to push past the pain and failing. She had a few options, but she needed some time to bring the best one out. She started fishing around in her pocket, just out of Kaede's view, wrapping her hand around a small packet...

Kaede rammed her brass knuckle fist into Styx's forehead as quick and painful as possible as Styx dropped to the mat. Confident in her current beating of Styx with her own brass knuckle, Kaede began walking around the ring, strutting smuggly as she looked around the crowd and the other two participants in this match as she lifted the brass covered fist and looked impressed at the knuckles.

Unfortunately, it didn't look like she drew blood like she wanted to as the knuckles didn't have any trace of blood. Frowning disappointingly, Kaede turned around to Styx's general direction as she approached the downed opponent, smiling quite happily as she looked to break open the skin on the forehead and get some real juice involved in this match, unaware that Styx's hand was in her pockets, a place where dangerous things seemed to be.

Back when Styx was fighting her way through the underground, she often took heat and shit for cheating and doing whatever it took to get the win. She was big. Bigger than most of her opponents, always meaner. She didn't need to cheat. She could just bludgeon her opponents into submission, right?

Wrong. Styx loved having the edge. So much so that she wanted to make sure she never didn't have it.

That why she always kept her little emergency back up plan tucked away, her Black Tar. A little party favor she saved for special occasions. She hadn't wanted to use it in this match, hoping save it as a surprise for Odessa if - no, when they fought. But she didn't want to get her head rocked with her own brass knuckles, either. Tonight was a night of surprises.

She popped the packet in her mouth, swiveled it around, lathered it up with spit and let the hot, spicy taste flow over her tongue, bubbling up and swelling. Almost ready...

Blissfully ignorant of her opponent's actions as Kaede casually walked over to the prone Styx on the floor. Constantly flexing her hand equipped with the brass knuckle, Kaede was ready to split that forehead open and let the blood really run cold in this match. There was many times before where Kaede found herself on this side of the spectrum, many other times she found herself on the other side and always fought back even harder.

However every time she was on the other side watching, she always forgot how vicious people could be when they were backed in a corner as she finally reached Styx, reaching down to grab Styx's hair to pull her up as she pulled her hand back to blast Styx in the face one more time, this time she wasn't going to stop until she saw blood.

Kaede looked like she was out for blood, and Styx had no doubt that she could get it, too. That last blow swelled up her skull something awful, gave her a migraine she'd be feeling for days. She wasn't bleeding...yet. But Styx was never an easy bleeder, and the lack of red hardly meant she wasn't taking damage. Her skull was cracking. She could almost hear it. Not to mention the lump that was already forming

As soon as she felt Kaede grabbing what little hair she had, Styx sprung the trap and spat the Black Tar out in a wide spray all over the judoka's face. It was hot, irritating stuff, like getting peppers squeezed right in your eyelids, and though it wouldn't be enough to keep her blinded for the entire fight - as funny as that would be - it didn't really need to. All Styx wanted was a chance to fall back and regroup, put some space between her and Kaede, then figure out the next step.

As Kaede pulled Styx's hair to force her to look eye to eye, that's when Kaede found out that Styx was never defenseless as something was sprayed into her eyes. "Ahhhh!!" Kaede let out as the stuff began to burn her eyes, releasing Styx's hair as both hands shot up to her face. Her eyes burned and watered as tears began to form on her eyes as Kaede had to resist the urge to rub her eyes as it would only make things worse as she stumbled backwards on the mat.

The sensation caused Kaede to be in a constant state of movement as she got back to her feet and back into the corner, trying to wipe the gunk off of her face and hopefully lessen the burning, completely unaware of what was going on around her.

Isabella watched with something akin to pride as her partner really took it to River, playing the woman's own game and delivering quite the beating in the process. Some of her success she contributed to her warning Kade about the brass knuckles but the girl had done well, proving she was a strange one but good at fighting all the same. "That's the way Kaede, take it to her, don't relent!" She shouted out over the roar of the crowd, deciding to give her future opponent some verbal support.

Things changed quickly and not for the better when River pulled another trick out of her bag, spitting a black goo over Kaede's eyes, it's effect clear as her partner teared up and cried out from the pain. "Kaede come to my voice!" She shouted trying to guide Kaede back to their corner so she could reach out and tag the woman in.
