"So? They didn't get to do what we just did. No idea what they're missing out on." He chuckled as he leaned in, giving her a small bite and a kiss on the neck. He leaned over, stretching to grab the bra, but didn't hand it to her. Instead, he held it just out of her reach, teasingly. But, they'd both kicked eachother's asses enough already so he finally did hand it over.

"I should get robbed more often." He chuckled, nudging her a bit as he brought up their first meeting again. Certainly could have worked out worse, that was certain.

She let out a fake laugh and snatched her bra back. "Ass."

It was nice to hear Adrian say the things he said. Part of it had to do with no guy or girl ever telling her anything like it before, she could gleefully admit that. She kept expecting there to be some angle to it, some sort of motive behind it all. Maybe trying to make allies in the company? No, he'd be crazy to trust her.

As far as she could tell, he just genuinely liked her. It was a new concept.

"And I wasn't gonna rob you, I was just fucking around at the gym." She stood back up and fastened her pants, pulling the drawstrings in. "I'm actually pretty good on money right now, believe it or not." She swirled her hand arounnd, motioning to her ramshackle of an apartment.

"Oh, shut up. You like it." He said with a smirk, poking her in the ribs.

He wasn't sure how much he should actually express, for fear of losing that 'edge' she liked about him so much. But, it was all true. This girl had left an impression on him that he couldn't have expected. He rest one of his hands on her thigh, idly running his thumb across her smooth skin, still slick with sweat.

"Yeah, yeah, suuure you were." He teased, chuckling as he began to dress himself once again as well. "Not that I coulda stopped you. I kicked one of your assess... but three of you? No way."

Mako giggled when he touched her ribs, where she just so happened to be ticklish. Her hands immediately shot up to cover her mouth for an awkward moment. After it passed, she slowly lowered them and fixed her eyes on Adrian with a blank expression. "Tell anyone and I'll kill you. With a rusty knife."

She was exaggerating, of course. At worst, she'd just beat him into a coma.

She stood up, zipped up her pants, and started heading back to the kitchen, giving Adrian a pat on the shoulder as she passed. She made sure to put a little extra sway in her step. "Well, it'd be more like two on one, really. Divine sits back and watches, most of the time." She slid back into the kitchen and hopped up on the counter, just so she could reach the cupboard. "Come on over, want to talk some business with you."

He grinned evilly, storing that little tidbit away for later. ""Oh, you know that means I own you now, right?" He laughed, but decided not to torture her with it.... yet. "But don't worry, that secret is aaaaall mine."

He followed along after her, stepping over the clutter of her destroyed apartment. He nearly tripped over a bit of debris as he caught himself staring... but there was no sense admitting it. "Fair enough. Even still... it'd have been rough." He leaned up against the counter next to her and glanced her way curiously. "What kind of business?"

She fished the cleanest glasses she could out of the cupboard and bent over, pouring some water for them both. A little soapy, but drinkable, and with all the sweat they'd lost in the last few hours some hydration was sorely needed.

Mako passed the glass off to him and dropped down, sitting on the edge of the counter and letting her legs dangle while she thought. She had plans. Big plans. She wanted to include him in those plans. He was a good fighter, vicious in a fight, the sort of person she wished a few more of her girls were like. It would be great if he could just join, but things weren't that simple. Ever.

"Well, first thing." She sat the glass aside and looked back his way. "Tell me, why'd you join Tension? What are you trying to get done, here?"

He accepted the glass without hesitation. His place wasn't exactly the picture of cleanliness either, after all. Tipping the glass back, he drained away half of it before resting the glass back on the counter.

As Mako mulled things over, he watched her curiously. If only he could read minds. Either way, he suspected she wouldn't keep him wondering for very long. It wasn't her style. As he waited, he brushed a few random items out of the way and hopped up on the counter top next to her.

"Well... they wouldn't let me fight MMA anymore after my accident." He replied with a shrug. "Couldn't really do anything about that, and I'll be damned if I'm going to stop fighting. But they accepted me here. So, here I am."

She looked at him with concern, a very rare look for her. She'd been so focused on how sexy that scar of his looked that she hadn't really thought to ask how he got it. It looked like something had nearly torn him in half, couldn't even imagine how he'd get that in the ring.

"This, right?" She reached over and ran a hand down his chest. It didn't have anything to do with what she was about to ask, but now that they were on the subject, there probably wasn't a better time. "What happened, man? Looks pretty fucked up."

It was a little hard to tell, but this was what passed for a tactful response with Mako. She was trying not to be too big of a bitch, just this one.

He shifted uncomfortably as she started to look just a bit too closely at the scars. He knew she didn't mind, but it seemed he did. But no, there was no possible way he could have gotten such a thing in the ring.

"Yeah, pretty much..." He nodded slowly, a chill running through him as her fingers brushed along his chest. He shook his head slowly, forcing the self-conscious thoughts from his mind. He shrugged. "Underground shark wrestling." He replied, his tone sounding as if he were serious. "It's dangerous by the money is good."

Mako was ready for a lot of things to come out of his mouth - car accident, a mugging gone bad, something like that. She had to say, though, that wasn't on her list of possibilities.

She raised an eyebrow at him, gave him a quick look from head to toe. It was probably a hard subject for him to get on, not the sort of thing he'd share with a girl he'd met twice and fucked once. She wouldn't press it, not now. But she would ask again. Someday.

"Hm." She brought her leg up and started to pull off her shoes, wanting to go barefoot in her own apartment for a little while. The kitchen floor seemed free of glass, shouldn't bw a big problem. "You don't want to tell me, you ain't gotta tell me, man." She shrugged it off and kicked one of her shoes across he kitchen. "But is that all you're here for? Just the fights?"
