Lion and the Ninja (For acuya)

"Training you say? Would you mind at all if I accompany you? I-I mean, I don't want to intrude on you, but I don't really have too much going on tonight...." Jay made a nervous laughter and looked away. He was SO losing his cool now. And he had no idea or reason in his mind as to why this was happening

"I don't know, man." Kozue rubbed her neck as she moved into her bedroom, talking to him from behind the walls as she started to get dressed. "You ever do any free-running? Not sure you can keep up."

He thought about it for a moment. "Well, I can climb trees pretty well. I can run fast, and for a good amount of time." Really, Nick was much better than Jay at parlour-type things such as running, jumping, and climbing. But, he was good in his own right. "But, Im sure I can keep up with you, Kozue." He says very adamantly.

"You can try." You could almost hear the smirk on her face as she sat down, bouncing on her bed while she changed. "Not afraid of heights, are you?"

Jay shook his head. As if Kozue could see him from behind that door. "Nah. Not at all. I meditate in trees a lot of the time, so Im fine"

"Meditating in trees. As in...on a branch. Right." She chuckled and laced on her shoes, popping out a minute later in full regalia. She always dressed light, but this was especially so - good jogging shorts, the sports bra, a bandanna keeping her hair bunched up. Perfect for some aerial maneuvers.

"Yes, out in the forest that the AFW has for some of the Fur and Feathers roster. At least, thats what I assume its for." Jay shrugged. He hears the door moving and turns around to see Kozue all ready to go. The lion gives her a slight smile. "Before we go...." He reaches into his pocket. "Here. Im giving this to you based on trust. Don't screw around with it." What was he giving her? Why, it was a key to his room here at the AFW complex.

"Oh, cool." She took the key and added it to her keychain, sliding it on. "You can trust me, dude. I am trustworthy." She stuffed the key away and heading over to the window, sliding on out and jumping down to the roof below.

"Of course I can trust you...I gave you a key, didn't I?" He gives her a better smile than before. Now that they were ready do go, Jay thought they were gonna head for the front door. And thats what he did. "Alright, so lets--ACK!" He yelled out, running to the window after she had jumped out, looking down. Did she just jump six floors?!

No, only one and a half.

She landed and fell into roll, defusing it and coming out safely. She waved to him and kept on going, sliding over some vents as she navigated the terrain.
