Lion and the Ninja (For acuya)

Jay watches that a shocked Kozue found the problem with his help. As she fixed it, she also asked him what he had been doing for the past few years. He gave the same few landmark points that he would tell just about anyone that asked that question. He put his back against the wall and ran them off.

"Well, I fought and killed a man, became a slave to a cow-race, and watched thousands being eaten alive and their corpses getting screwed." He said it as it was no big deal but....Damn. This lion was one fucked up guy, and he had seen a lot more than most should have to see in their lifetimes.

Kozue blinked for a few moments, then stuck her head out and looked him over, head to toe. "...no, seriously, what's your story?"

Jay nods when she didn't believe him. "Seriously....Which part of that didn't sound real?" He said in an annoyed tone. He counts them on his fingers. "I freed a city of a leader who aimed to kill animal races by killing him. I was taken slave by a race in which the females dominate the males 1-10. And watched as a spider race fucked, then ate a butterfly race...."

"What part doesn't sound real?" She took a moment as she went back into the bathroom, as if that question required serious thought. "Pretty much everything from the first thing you said till the last thing you said. Well, no, you killing a man is slightly believable. I mean, it could physically happen, so it's got that going for it."

She ducked down, picking the cover up and setting it back. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to tell me, man. But if you're going to make up a story, take it from an expert bullshitter - don't throw in anything about cow rape."

Balling his fists, he growled a bit. "Its true....All of it. You can check the files, Im wanted worldwide for the murder of Maranan Incarnivourous. I can show you the pictures of me with other races..... Don't think that I am bullshitting you." He was angry that she didn't believe him. "What do I have to do to prove it to you?" He asked the ninja, crossing his arms in a bit of fury

"I don't have files to check, this isn't Langley and I don't have CIA access. Or whatever bureau would deal with...that." She blew some air freshners around and shut the door, letting it sit for a bit.

"Look, it's not that big of a deal." She started to hop out of her galoshes. "You like waffles? I like waffles. Let's eat some waffles."

He just sighed, trying to brush the whole ting off while she suddenly changed topics to waffles. "Um...Sure, I-I like waffles..." Jay followed her to wherever she was going (Probably the kitchen). "Well, its all true. I'm happy I didnt get screwed...." Jay shuddered a bit.

"Not touching that last comment." She sauntered on into her kitchenette, where she had been coking some waffles for a late brunch before everything literally went to shit.

"So, how'd you find me, anyway?" She poured herself a cup of Orange Juice while she glances at the sizzling stove. Just a few more minutes and they'd be good to go. "Remember telling you I was on top of the Crazy Horse. They send you over here?"

Jay took a waft of the air and could smell the waffles. They smelled awesome, freshly made. He smiked when she asked how he had gotten to her apartment. "Yeah. The card you gave me. I took it to that bouncer. He threw it back in my face." He sees an empty stool and decides to take a seat. "He was about to throw me, too. I took care of him, and was informed after that you had moved here..."

Yeah, that sounded about right. Part of the reason she had been there in the first place was to work as a bouncer - from the sound of things, they'd replaced herand replaced her poorly. By someone with an extremely low tolerance for everything, it seemed like.

She looked over her shoulder, curious about the last part and raising an eyebrow to show it. "When you say you 'took care of him', do you mean that you, say, treated him to a lovely dinner or is it more like the Godfather/Scarface way of 'taking care' of people?"
