SS 14 Best 2/3 Falls: Taylor Parker Vs. Adrian Kytes

Taylor wasn't expecting to get airborne quite so soon. Adrian wasn't messing around.

She instantly released the headlock and kicked her legs to get just far enough away that when she came down she landed safely on her own feet, just in front of Adrian's knee. She shoved away and skipped back a step, turning to face Adrian while she paced around her with a cocky swagger.

"The bell just rang, and you're already after my ass? Jeez." She grinned, and then suddenly lunged at the brunette with a jumping high roundhouse kick sweeping toward her face.

Darn Adrian thought to herself, mildly annoyed at Taylor's escape. Well, the move had served it's purpose in getting the former cosplayer out of the headlock, it just would have been nice to do some damage too. This was no time for kicking herself though, Taylor had that part covered as she swung her foot up, aiming to take the brunette's head off.

Ducking down to avoid the blow, Adrian sprang forward, looking to snap Taylor in a tight side headlock of her own, putting the pressure on to punish her for whiffing the roundhouse.

Taylor's kick cut through the air just over Adrian's head, and the momentum carried her around so that she landed almost with her back to her before she was forced to bend down in a neat headlock. Fair was fair.

She grit her teeth and hardened her neck and shoulders to keep from being squished by Adrian's forearm, and backed her way to the ropes. Then she took a shuffling step and shoved Adrian as hard as she could toward the ropes at the far side of the ring.

This was turning out to be a much more technical start to the match with the two wrestlers quickly exchanging holds and evades than would be expected, given their last two attempts at having a match. Both Adrian and Taylor, while still fierce rivalries, had seemingly become somewhat civil within the confines of another match. A minute in and no-one had called anyone a motherfucker or something, that had to be a new record.

While she might have been in control of her emotions, Adrian was not fully in control of Taylor. The punkette backing her into the ropes only to shoot the former cosplayer off to the opposite side. Rebounding and running back to keep some momentum as she ducked low, potentially looking for a spear.

Taylor came out toward the middle of the ring to meet Adrian, and as the brunette went low, Taylor jumped high. She split her legs and clapped her hands against Adrian's back as she leap-frogged over the charging wrestler. She turned and waved bye-bye as Adrian ran past toward the opposite ropes, with a big punky grin on her face.

Adrian stumbled for a few steps as Taylor leapfrogged her, before regaining her stride to bounce off the other set of ropes. This time would be different! Now the former cosplayer was going high for her attack, looking to get a quick clothesline off to take the blonde down to the ground before running the ropes like this started to get annoying, exhausting or worse.

Taylor was ready to grab onto Adrian as she came back, but instead took Adrian's forearm across her chest.

"Ungh!" She grunted and went down on her back with a splat, and the crowd cheered the first real action of the match. She was almost instantly back on her feet, turning to watch for Adrian to come back.

"Woo!" Adrian let out as first blood went to her, quickly moving back in to grab Taylor by the arm, spinning her into a wrist lock as the blonde stood up. Two out Three falls matches could take forever and the former cosplayer needed to pace herself, not blow everything early and leave nothing for the second and third falls after she won the first. Standing chain-wrestling was probably a much better fit for that than running around for big strikes.

Taylor had only just straightened up when she was forced to bend forward, with her arm twisted around above her. She clasped her free hand to her shoulder and stumbled a couple steps around Adrian, wincing from the pain in her shoulder.

"Rrgh..." She growled as she got her footing, her legs spread apart and her knees bent, and then jumped and tucked into a forward roll that untwisted her arm. She popped up and grabbed Adrian's arm back, and pulled hard to yank the brunette into a stiff clothesline of her own.

Adrian tried her best to hold on to the blonde's wrist as Taylor rolled out of the twist in her arm, thinking that she could just re-apply the hold with a fair bit of ease but Taylor wasn't done with just the escape. It was Adrian's turn to feel an arm collide with her chest, knocking her down to the ground quickly with a short-arm clothesline earning a grunt of "Oooof!" from the former cosplayer.

"So far, so good." she muttered to herself as she tried to get up as quick as possible. Trading holds and clotheslines was usually a lot better than her matches normally went but soon she'd need to get a way to keep Taylor down after a knockdown and for that she needed a bigger opening and more time.
