Zombie apocalypse plan?

I think you're confused as to who is being ridiculous...

The age of Infantry is over(it already was in the 90s), that also means the age of the classic world wide Zombie Apocalypse(slow, shambling type) is over too. Mass destruction isn't as locally limited as it was, and large Tank or Helicoper units are never employed in zombie movies for a reason.^^

But if you happen to be stuck in a town full of rednecks and the outbreak occurs, you're pretty much screwed if you stay. Men with 2 shot weapons and pitchforks will fight on their lawn and will quickly be added to the horde, the best you can hope for is that he scored a lucky hit and you traded 2 zombies vs 1 zombie.

*Avoid close combat. Nothing screams more "noble sacrifice" than to arm yourself with an axe or a knife. Contrary to common believe a chainsaw does also not run out of fuel after 2 minutes of use, so I would deem it acceptable.
