Strike Master Quarter Finals: Heather Vs. Adrian

"Sh-shut up!" Heather let out as Adrian called her out on her little mannerisms. She would push herself off the ropes, heading straight towards the girl, ready to connect with a fiercer attack to follow up with the body blow that she just delivered. Leaping up a bit, she would attempt to grab her and slam her down with a lariat takedown.

"No you shut-" Was all Adrian got out before Heather's arm wrapped around her throat, forcing her to the mat. "Okay I'll shut up..." she said, wincing on the canvas... so much for a relativley simple first round.

"Haah.." Heather took in a relieved breath as she was able to take Adrian down with that lariat takedown. She would scramble up onto one knee, breathing in and out to quickly set herself up for the next move. "Good" Heather let out, grinning and nodding before she would try to grab Adrian by the head, trying to lift it up and slip her legs around it, trying to lock her in a tight headscissors and squeeze her hard with her thighs.

"Nkkkk..!" Adrian grunted when Heather's thighs wrapped around her neck. Wasn't this supposed to be a strike tournament? Now she was caught in a painful submission with her face getting red from the pressure.

At first she tried to force her way out, smashing her fists against Heather's knees to try and get some weakness in the hold, next was rolling around, trying to kip up and let the sudden movement get her out, she could always take the cheap way out, but she had promised not to, so low blows were off limits. She had to work her way out of this hold with her skill and her toughness and if all else failed: a foot on the ropes.

Heather grinned widely as she locked in the scissor hold, squeezing Adrian's head tightly, hoping to weaken the girl as much as she could. She knew quite well the bearings of the tournament and what it was based on, but if she could do this to weaken Adrian, she wouldn't hesitate to do so. She squeezed her hard until she felt Adrian smash her fists against her knees.

Heather grit her teeth, trying to hold on before Adrian suddenly kipped up, slipping right out of the hold. Heather rolled backwards quickly, getting up onto one knee. "..Alright." Heather let out, nodding her head as she quickly tried to get on guard.

As Adrian's head slipped out from between Heather's legs, she'd liked to have made an impressive show of it, land straight back on her feet and get straight back to kicking ass. Unfortunately the pressure of the headscissor combined with kipping up so fast to get out of it gave the former cosplayer a quick dose of Vertigo, forcing her to stagger towards the ropes so she could find out which way was left and which one was right. Right was the buttons and Left was the analog stick, right?

It may not have looked that dignified but it did work in getting her out, but she doubted that she'd be able to use that same trick twice, but now she was out and in the ropes. No holds to worry about there.

Seeing Adrian stumble a bit after she got up with that kip up, Heather couldn't help but grin. The sight was slightly amusing to her and it sort of took the impressiveness of her maneuver away..but only just a bit. The girl still had managed to escape from her hold quite skillfully. However, Heather wasn't about to give her any reprieve as she saw Adrian in the ropes.

She would charge at her, trying to leap up and use the ropes to aid her in her attempt at slamming her knee directly into Adrian's chin, trying to jolt and daze her best she could.

Adrian managed to catch out Heather's charge, trying to do what came natural to her. As Heather put her foot on the second rope, looking for the rope assisted Shining Wizard Adrian quickly went horizontal, not dropping to the floor, but heading sideways, on the middle rope as she held down the top rope hoping Heather's own momentum would send her tumbling to the outside.

It was too soon after having her head crushed like a grape to take another dazing shot, and hopefully this could cut off Heather's momentum before it got too much for the former cosplayer to handle.

Heather charged straight towards Adrian, thinking her next hit would daze the girl quite a bit. However instead of colliding with Adrian's chin, she would be send over the top rope as the girl pulled it down, sending Heather crashing to the ground on the outside.

She groaned out as she rubbed her back from the pain, slowly pushing herself up as she shook her head. "D-damn..." Heather let out, trying to shake the pain off as much as she could.

This was the break Adrian needed. She'd toppled Heather and sent her careening to the outside... or Heather did, but Adrian could at least claim partial credit in this scenario. Flopping back to standing up by the ropes, she tried to get a decent judge of how far Heather away was from her and how fast she was getting up. Her first thought was a simple vault into a high body splash but considering like 2 times out of 6 of that move actually worked it probably wasn't the best strategy to go straight over the top like that. If Heather was aware and strong enough to catch her maybe she shouldn't jump into a position where she could only flail in her grasp.

While that may all sound like a lot of thinking to do mid-match in a few seconds a new idea popped into her head, it was a little better than the old one but still risky: but this was the high flying tourney so let's mother-fucking fly! Grabbing the top rope firmly she vaulted over the ropes, twisting so she ended up facing the ring and landing on the apron, then jumping up to the second rope, releasing the top rope and flying back, trying to catch Heather with an impressive looking assai moonsault.
