[Pendant Match] Standard: Rei Tomizawa vs Natasha Loclear

"Ahh.." Rei grunted as her head was still weary from the last blow Natasha dealt to her.

"oohfh!" Rei let out a gasp for air as her opponent's ass came flying down against her chest. The resulting in knocking the wind out of her as she gasped and coughed out for air. Rei grunted seeing her legs being trapped under Natasha's arms. The purple haired girl groaned shaking her head trying to arch her back but, with so little energy left with in her body. The purple haired girl's struggles were small as her eyes opened wide finding the ref right next to her slapping the ground.

"One!"

Rei let out a growl of effort trying to make her legs go forward trying to get the girl off of her.

"Two!"

Frantic Rei shook her head not wanting this to be the end of her match. The girl shut ehr eyes tight trying to use every amount of strength she could muster.

"THREE!"

Rei kicked out too late as sheslammed the side of the mat with her fist as she layed flat on her back. The cosplay fighter let out a sigh as she pressed her hands to her face as the bell rang and Nastaha's music played through the stadium.

"D-damn it!"

The crowd was dead silent as Natasha dropped down right on top of Rei's chest putting the girl in a pinning predicament, Natasha unknowingly holding her breath as the ref slid in beside them to begin the count. She pulled as far back on the woman's legs as she could to make sure Rei wouldn't have the leverage needed to kick out from this hold, the girl fighting hard beneath her as the referee began to slap the mat, taking forever to reach a count of two or so it seemed to Natasha. At the last moment Rei's shoulder rose up off the mat, Natasha exhaling at last thinking she had just failed to pick up the win yet again, but as her music began to play she looked over at the ref to see her reaching over to raise Natasha's arm in victory.

"Heh...looks like I won." Natasha said aloud before letting go of Rei's legs and pushing herself up onto her feet, walking towards the middle of the ring where the ref girl raised her hand much to the delight of the crowd as they seemed to explode. Natasha smiled brightly as she reveled in her victory for a moment, but when the ref dropped her hand the french woman walked over to Rei and held out her hand to help the girl get up to her feet. "It was a good match Rei, no hard feelings right?"

Rei let out a sigh as she laid there as she was always found defeat to be hard to swallow. Looking up at Natasha, she gave a weak smile grasping the girl's hand as she was pulled to her feet. She let out another sigh before shaking her head responding to the other girl's question.

"Nah... It was a good match it ended a little too early for my taste but, it was a damn good match." Rei said shaking Natasha's hand. "Boy you are tough though... I haven't quite seen anyone fight like you..."

The purple haired girl scratched the back of her head as that was an understatement. Natasha was fast, strong, had excellent technique and could counter very well. Looking back, Rei, in comparison, realized her stats were unbalanced and her arsenal relied almost entirely on submissions. Since her Wrestle NAgel days, she was always one step behind everyone else but, apparently she needed to do more training. The girl wondered when she would ever fully catch up to her colleages but, she shook her head as she spaced out for a second.

Natasha wrapped her hand around Rei's to help lift her back up onto her feet, taking a step back after she shook her hand to give the woman some space, she had just been sitting on top of her after all. She was pleased to see she was taking this defeat fairly well, obviously she was disappointed in losing but that was only natural and to be expected, Natasha was just glad to see Rei wasn't the angry spiteful type. "Too true, our fun had only just gotten started hadn't it?"

What Rei said next caught her a little off guard, like anyone else she liked to think of herself as unique but she hadn't really thought of her style as being that special. She had been more impressed with Rei actually, her knowledge of submissions had felt greater than her own, if it hadn't been for a few solid counters things might have turned out differently, she was certainly going to be rewatching this match several times to see what they had each done right and wrong.

"You think so? To be honest I was going to say much the same thing about you, I'm glad I impressed."

Rei laughed bashfully as she listened to Natasha's comments, "Hahaha... Thanks!"

The Submission wrestler grinned as she punched Natasha playfully on the arm. "You won't get so lucky next time..." She said with one eye closed winking at her. She walked over to raise the blue haired girl's arm for show before she walked towards the ropes and slipped through them leaving the ring first. It was another disappointing loss for Rei but, she didn't walk away empty handed. The girl had learned a great deal if she needed to succeed in AFW, she needed more than just her submission skills. She needed to train in one other category at the minimum. Taking her time, she walked her way up the ramp in deep thought. She turned her head to look back at Natasha, she was something else. One day, she knew that Natasha would be something great but, when that day game Rei promised to herself. She'd be even greater.

Natasha giggled in reply as Rei gave her a little love tap on her arm, returning the favor with a light slap to the girls back right after she raised her arm in a show of good will for the crowd. Natasha would stand there in the middle of the ring as Rei headed for the ropes to make her exit, cupping her hands over her mouth so that what she said next would be loud enough for Rei to hear her over the cheers of the crowd and her music. "No such thing as luck Rei, its all skill! And don't forget about our training session!"

Dropping her hands down to rest on her hips Natasha took one last look around the arena savoring the sounds of her victory, smiling wide as she then waved to her fans both old and new. Taking a low bow Natasha headed for the side of the ring herself, sliding under the bottom rope and dropping down onto the arena floor, walking up the ramp clapping the hands of her adoring fans as she passed them. She may have won but she still knew there a lot of experience she needed to pick up before she would be taken seriously.
