Training with Kuri

Still feeling dizzy from the smother, Kido was struggling to get on his feet for a while. The boy ignored her comment as he's trying to recover his strength. He saw her got into a stance and sighed. Feeling that he's not that ready for another go, Kido walk towards the ring's edge. He put his left arm on top of the ropes and stared at her with a rather tired but nonetheless plain expression.

"Say..." he suddenly said while still panting. "Could it be that you're from a rich family? Single child?"

Kuri was ready to press forward, and she was moving to kick him when he stopped her dead with his question. "Wai-Wait, what? Wh-what does that matter, and how'd you know?" She said stammering now, she was sure she hadn't told many people about her family, so how could he have known?

Her reaction actually surprised him a little. He didn't expect the "Empress" to suddenly act nervous from his question. He raised an eyebrow for a split second before his expression returned to "normal".

"Oh," said Kido, still panting a bit. "Just a hunch... and no, it doesn't matter."

Thought so, the boy added silently in his mind. Her dominant attitude seemed familiar to him. She kinda reminded him of someone he knew. Someone close, perhaps the only woman in his life that he could get along with. Wonder what's "she's" doing now, Kido thought.

He let go the ropes and put his hands on his knees while standing. The boy slowly adjusted his breath, looking rather absent-minded while doing so.

Kuri was mad now, some kid she was supposed to be having fun with, somehow guess her family information. Kuri responded "Yea, that's right...it doesnt matter." calming a bit, it was a bit of a shock and a little creepy, but she had to ignore it. She stepped forward again, trying to aim a left at his face and then she tried to follow with a solid kick to the stomach, to take the wind out of him. "How bout you just let me play if you're done talking now!" she would say, trying to return to her usual self.

The change of attitude was rather expected, somehow. After all she's been starting to get more serious for a while now. Kido swatted the punch, but his reaction was late for the kick due to the exhaustion from the smother earlier. The kick hit his stomach, but he managed to jumped back before it fully connected. It almost seemed that he took full contact.

"G-gahh!!" he grunted as he flew a couple of feet away.

He would try to get back on one knee and rub his stomach with one hand with a slight grimace on his face.

Kuri was striking fast and hard, and her efforts were showing. He was still a little dazed by the smother, as he was able to swat the punch but not the kick. He went back a bit, and he dropped to his knee. Kuri pressed her advantage and tried to hit him with a a knee to the chest, to put him on the floor, so she could sit on him, straddling his chest! "Awww, did I break my toy?~" she said quietly looking at him intently.

The pain in his stomach hadn't really subsided when another attack came in from her knee. Kido crossed his arms in front of him to block the strike, but the impact still send him falling to the mat on his back. Before he could get up, the busty woman suddenly already on top of him and sat on his chest. Kido stared at her blankly, as if her taunt didn't get through to him.

"Maybe..." he said while panting, still looking calm as ever.

Kuri was a little surprised when he blocked the knee attack, but it didn't matter, he ended up falling anyway. She got atop him, and and he looked back at her with that calm poker face of his even in the face of her taunts. "Huh...I don't think so, but that's what I like; you're a wind-up toy, not matter how many times I push you down, you just need a quick winding, then you're back to normal!" She would say as she slapped in him in the face a few times, lighter than she usually would've done, but she was just playing right now.

"Well, I'm used to get beaten up..." he said in a rather low voice. "Through middle school I got bullied a lot."

The boy expression became slightly grim as he was reminded of his past. it didn't seem like he's trying to resist her until she started giving him a few slaps in the face. He took a few of her slapping, before trying to grab her wrists with his hands.

Kuri was surprised at the admission, she couldn't see him as a kid that was bullied. At least that was the inital thought, rethinking it, she could see him being that quiet kid in his own world at school. He grimaced a bit at the apparently painfull thoughts, and he was being a bit submissive until she started to slap him. That woke him up quickly enough, and he grabbed her wrists, not losing ground, she would lean in instead of breaking away. She leaned until her face was very close to his, "Are you ok? You can tell your Empress, I won't bite." She said, with a bit of genuine concern in her voice.
