Chizuru Vs Iktomi

Chizuru let out a huff. Iktomi is decently strong and heavy, so she would have to put at least some effort into her slams and throws. But first, she has to weaken her a bit. So she would kneel down right behind the Shaman, force her to sit up, before she would lock her arms in around the girl's neck in a sleeper hold.

Brushing off the pain from the slam, Iktomi tried to get up quickly, but when she got her body up she found out that Chizuru was now right behind her. Her head was caught in the sleeper hold, and she reacted by trying to tear Chizuru's arms away from her neck.

Chizuru struggled to maintain the sleeper hold. It was already one challenge trying to maintain the position of the sleeper hold before she can actually squeeze the neck. She focused on maintaining the submission hold, not wavering without a struggling fight.

While Chizuru struggled with keeping her position, Iktomi did her best to get out of it. Thanks to her efforts, she wasn't being choked yet, but they couldn't stay in that stalemate for much longer. Still holding onto Chizuru's arms, Iktomi slowly rose to her feet, and if she wasn't interrupted she would then try to slip her head away from the hold.

Chizuru realized that she won't get Iktomi in the sleeper hold. However, she wasn't going to let her stand. While the struggle continued and the Shaman got onto one leg, Chizuru would quickly react and kick that leg's inner knee to send Iktomi back down onto her knees. She would then stop putting in the sleeper hold, but would instead knee the girl on the back of her head to send her back down onto the mat.

"Just... a bit more..." Iktomi's ascent was then cut short with a blunt hit to the back of her leg, that made her lose her balance and go down to her knees again. Before she could restart her upward struggle, Chizuru's knee strike hit the mack of her head, and she was thrown down forcefully. She was down again, and this time she was also stunned by the strength of the knee blow.

Chizuru let out a silent sigh of relief as Iktomi was knocked down. She definitely needed to weaken the Shaman if she would ever get in her stronger moves. So she would grab the girl's ankles and use that as leverage to flip her over onto her back. She would then drop one leg and keep the grip on the other, namely, the leg that she kicked on its inner knee, and would turn Iktomi around with that leg into a single leg Boston crab, trying to weaken that leg and her back with a simple submission.

When Iktomi felt her legs being grabbed, she at first tried to kick her way out, but because her head was still spinning her movements weren't coordinated enough for Chizuru to let go. Then she was flipped, and the strain started coming. Iktomi was not very good with submissions, so she would have to rely on her stamina and force her way out. She tried to flex her trapped leg, enduring the hold while she tried to break free.

The flexing did nothing as Chizuru had both her hands focused on Iktomi's one leg in the hold. However, with the other leg free, Iktomi would have a much easier time reaching towards the ropes. Chizuru tried to hold her ground, but she couldn't hold it for a long period of time, and slowly, she was forced to take steps backward to keep up with the Shaman's body in order to maintain the hold. She tried to keep the hold in as long as she can to dish out as much damage as possible to the trapped leg and the girl's back.

Iktomi struggled and thrashed as much as she could, slowly getting more desperate to get out as the strain increased. She couldn't free her trapped leg, merely inching closer and closer to the ropes. However, this happened by pure accident - a consequence of her struggles - as no one had been kind enough to warn Iktomi of the rope break rule before the match.

Iktomi had already dragged Chizuru very close to the ropes, and she saw that she didn't have much space to move about. She decided to switch tactics and planted her hands on the mat, trying to lift her upper body from the mat. This would probably make it easier for her to flex her trapped leg. She fought on, unaware that her escape was waiting at her arm's reach.
