Crap Crap Crap...this was exactly the opposite of how Edward wanted to start things off in this match, he had intended to show off his speed, instead the bigger dude not only outsped him, but was banging his knee against the mat from the get go!

The next thing Ed knew, he was back on his back and his leg was getting grabbed, no doubt for some kind of submission attempt. However, he was far from the point where he could be just completely manhandled at ease, and his free leg struck out repeatedly, kicking high and true towards the bent over man. His elbow, his shoulder, his head, kicking hard and true until he slipped his leg free, quickly rolling from Ryan to the other side of the ring and getting up to one knee, rubbing the sore point on the one that got banged against the mat.

"Oh I'll step up alright! Don't underestimate me just cause I'm small!"

Ryan had been around the ring a fair bit by this point in his career, a far cry from the time he spent on the Asian indies in casual clothes and just doing whatever came to him in some dingy ring in a public square. This came with him having expectations out of those he fought generally speaking, namely he would seek to have enthusiasm to clash with him. The so called fighting spirit one could say funnily enough that in Ryan's mind anyone seeking a belt in wrestling ought to have shown.

So when Edward struggled with all he had and managed to escape from the clutches of the Paragon well......rather than be annoyed Ryan actually had a smirk on his face. With a nod of his head Ryan would then say "Very good. Glad to hear you've got guts." the Paragon was a sportsman after all and gave credit when due. Still Mr Knight had an idea in mind seeing Edward getting cornered.......

"Let us see you deal with this!" Ryan would yell as he attempted to burst into a sprint and launched out his massively muscled left arm for a clothesline attempt at Mr Sealgair, the Paragon was a straightforward fighter at the end of the day here however and didn't bother to hide the tell of his attack after all the lad wore his heart on his sleeve.

Ok. So not only was he big and strong, but he was pretty quick too. Now Edward knew that for a fact, and knew to watch out for it. Worrisome, but not something he couldn't deal with.

Something else worrisome was seeing Ryan come charging straight towards the young blonde teen, arm stretched for a clothesline, a very obvious attack with a very obvious tell.

This was also something he could deal with. Rather than move, Edward stood his ground, letting Ryan get closer before making his move, dashing TOWARDS the older fighter, building just enough momentum before throwing his body forward into a roll and sticking out one leg, letting the momentum of his roll carry that leg forward so that his booted heel could smash HARD into Ryan's chest with a Koppu Kick, his favorite counter!

Ryan was no stranger to pressing the attack, granted he wasn't all that subtle compared to other fighters but he always abided by the Knight mantra of search and destroy. While it was certainly imposing to deal with if you could move in time then you could handle it, which Edward was about to so aptly demonstrate as suddenly Ryan rushed right into the Koppu Kick!

There was a loud thwacking noise of boot to skin there as the crowd yelped and Ryan let out a loud "Guah!"

The Paragon would be sent flying backwards onto his ass, only to then roll onto his stomach there and make an attempt to seemingly rise back upwards there. Only to then slump back down onto the mat in a spread eagled position, pondering how his armour could fail him here and what the hell just hit him! Still he was able to at least mutter out with "T-That's the stuff!"

Ah, the good old Koppu Kick, one of the most trustworthy attacks in Edwards arsenal, it never let him down when he needed it.

Rolling backwards, Edward planted his feet onto the mat and immediately rose up to his feet, the scottish teen knowing full well he needed to hit this big guy hard and fast and keep pouring the pressure on if he wanted to have a chance of victory. To that end, with Ryan still down spread-eagle on the mat, Edward charged toward the ropes closest to Ryans body, leaping from halfway across the ring to land his feet on the middle rope while grabbing the top rope for balance, pushing the rope back as far as it would go.

When the rope would spring back, Edward leaped back with it, springing off the ropes and flipping his body back in mid-air, trying to come crashing down onto Ryan's chest with a Lionsault!

Alright Ryan just crashed and burned there as he ran into the brick wall that was Edward's kicks, that probably should have come up in the revision notes for this thing in retrospect as Ryan's brain rattled in his noggin there. He'd need an ice pack after all this for sure, still in the Paragon's mind this was a setback. Nothing more!

At least he was telling himself that but it wasn't going to help when Edward was already getting a move on in setting up for his next trick, Ryan was vaguely aware of what was going on in the ring there as his head was still ringing from the blow. So Edward would manage to get going in his Lionsault assault there upon the Paragon, the crowd gasping in awe as he took off the ropes and crashed his legs down on Ryan's perfectly muscled chest there!

"Guah!" Ryan grunted hard as spittle flew from his mouth there as his head leaned backwards with him quietly groaning, okay now that stung and it jarred Ryan back into the ring now at the very least!

Nailed it!

Edward was still feeling the incredible thrill of successfully pulling off a risky move like the Lionsault, one of his personal favorites as it clearly kept the much bigger Paragon down on the mat where Ed wanted him...but if he was going to attempt a pinfall, there was at least one more thing he needed to do to keep this guy occupied first!

"Let's see how you like this too!"

Ed yelled, rolling backwards to quickly get back on his feet while also gaining some short distance from Ryan, and as soon as the flat of his soles hit the mat, he charged towards his downed opponent, leaping up in the air as high as he could go once he was a half-foot away from the man, throwing his body back and bending his legs back, tucking his knees in together as he pulled off an impressive backwards somersault in mid air, landing chest first onto Ryan with a Standing Star Press, quickly hooking his opponents legs even as the crowd applauded the move!

Okay now this was a bad situation, but Ryan figured he'd be able to rally with just a momentary pause. Edward's high flying and strikes were nothing to scoff at there in the mind of the Paragon now, but he reasoned he was far from beaten yet if Ryan was to say in regards to his own abilities! Still he would be given no reprieve here against his opponent and the next thing the Paragon knew he got slammed hard with a shooting star splash that crashed down right onto his perfectly muscled abs there!

"Gaahh!" Ryan yelled out, okay now that was sore there and he could feel his chest caving in. Then he got his legs hooked for the pin and Ryan could hear the ref slapping once on the mat there for the pin, the Paragon would grit his teeth as the second count was heard. Then before it was three Ryan let out a loud roar and dug down deep, powering out of the pin and likely tossing Edward damn near off of him too!

With that Ryan would roll onto his stomach and get on his hands and knees and start shaking his head, the Knight wasn't out of this one yet by golly and Ryan would make damn sure of it!

"Cmoncmoncmo-WOAAH!"

Edward had been holding tightly onto Ryan's leg, hoping against hope that his assault had been enough to keep the man down, and for a brief moment, it seemed it was!

The next moment though, Edward was airborne, launched high enough by the powerful Paragon that Edward actually was able to get his legs under him and land right on his booted feet as a result, backing away from his opponent with a shocked look on his face at the sheer power the man just displayed!

Granted, Edward didn't weight much, but still, being CHUCKED in the air like that from a pinning position was crazy...and showed just how dangerous Ryan really was! If he was going to take this nice bastard down for the count, Ed needed to keep up the pressure!

With Ryan still getting to his feet, Ed moved to the nearby turnbuckle, climbing and standing on the very top of the turnbuckle, waiting for Ryan to finish getting up and turning around once he noticed Ed wasn't in sight. When that turn started coming, Edward would leap off the turnbuckle, as high as his body would let him go, and turn his body to the side, trying to crash into Ryan and bring him right down to the mat in a perfect pinning position with a Diving Crossbody!

Ryan figured that it was about time he got back into the swing of things in this match here, he was that close to losing there. So it was time to draw on some strength that the Knights were known for and send Edward flinging off from him, it actually made the crowd gasp loudly in surprise there as Ryan flung Sealgair off with authority and gritted his teeth.

Ryan rolled onto his front and pounded the mat once with his fist before standing upright there. He would clock in quick that Edward was flying in high there, Ryan tensed himself there, Edward would manage to land the flying attack there. But he'd find something happening there, the Paragon's right foot would slip backwards a bit. However when Ryan fully steeled himself he could be a damn near unmovable fortress of British might.

The Paragon would then give a loud roar as he would then seek to spin Edward right around in his grip, attempting to impale his back right on Ryan's right knee with a swift and authorative tilt a whirl backbreaker followed by simply flipping Edward off there with ease!
