-Make sure the image you're using for your character isn't already claimed by checking the Canon Database through the link provided HERE.

-I'd suggest you write and save your completed character profile in a word document first, saving it to your computer... then:

-Post up a new topic with the character details in the correct category under the Roster forum. Friction roster for FvF wrestling only, Tension roster for MvF or MvM wrestling, Momentum for all genders in various other martial arts.

-Use a new thread for each character (exception only if the character is part of a tag team or faction, these may be put together if you wish)

-Title the topic with the name of the character (or name of what ever team/faction the characters belong to)

-A moderator or admin will make sure you've submitted a completed roster page, and either approve or message you on corrections that need to be done before giving approval.

-Once your first bio has been accepted we will notify you by replying to the bio and you will then be allowed to play in the RP sub forums with the accepted character. If you post in the wrestling forums before being allowed you may face punishment such as a ban, at administrator or moderators discretion.

-Character biographies will be judged mainly on levels of detail and if it's properly completed, but could also be judged on grammar, spelling and paragraphing. It will not be judged on format or inclusion of pictures (although if the picture is of a real person, we may ask you to change it).

-If there is only minor problems preventing your bio from being accepted, we will advise you what needs changing. However if your bio is rejected out right, we would be glad to coach you (briefly) on how to improve it, but this will have to be over PM.

-People who have an accepted character will then be free to create further characters without going through the acceptance process (unless otherwise stated by Admin/Mods or until such a time that the quality of your bios dips to unacceptable levels).

-After being approved, you're final step is to post the Canon Database thread to formally claim the OC.

-Remember. Only you're FIRST character requires mod approval. Afterward you can create characters at your will provided the roster pages are completed. But ALL characters must be submitted to Canon Database.

Pic Sharing

Pic sharing is where you share the same pic as someone else or the same character for picture purposes (eg. You might share Sakura from Naruto with another member but use different pics of her for your seperate characters).

This is allowed as long as you ask permission from the member who was using her first.

Canon Characters

Generally when we refer to “canon characters”, we are referring to characters that are from an anime, manga or video games and being used in the world of AFW as if they were that character (eg. Sonya Blade from Mortal Kombat being used as a character). However occasionally we do refer to just the use for pic purposes alone

We ask that you make no more than 3 characters from any one franchise (this includes the use of just the pic alone). This will allow everyone to have a chance to use at some of them characters and ensure one member does not monopolize all the characters. Except may be made in cases where the characters are part of a team.
