"Not a bad statistic," Victoria said, putting the documents aside, "all tickets are completely sold out, many are wondering how your first defense will go."

Astrid grinned. She took a diagonal step and then sent a hard right hook into the punching bag. The blonde straightened to her full height and took a deep breath. The warm-up before the match was needed not only to avoid the possibility of accidental injury, but also to spend emotional energy. Astrid left the locker room and headed down the long corridor. Did she feel something new after becoming the champion? It's hard to say. On the one hand, she always gave her best in matches by more than one hundred percent, so in this sense it was hardly possible to expect any changes. But on the other hand, changes still took place. Astrid has always strived to make her great ancestors proud of her. And the moment she raised the golden belt above her head, she felt that she had not disgraced the honor of the warriors of the past.

She entered the small waiting room and stopped in front of the curtains. Right now there was the entrance of her rival, which means in a few minutes it will be the blonde's turn. The walls of the arena shook because of the noise. The Norwegian woman with a smile pointed at herself with her thumb. Damn, she loved this setting. Fighting has been a part of her life since she was a child. She had to fight her way here at the cost of her own blood. But when the gazes of thousands of eyes were directed at her, she felt that everything she had done in life, she had done right. Astrid turned around and looked at her rival. Oh, what is it? Was Galina's look sober today? Amazing. Astrid grinned, and then nodded to the Russian woman.

The referee called both fighters to the center of the ring, or rather she called Galina, since Astrid was already in the center of the ring. She needed to clarify the rules before officially starting the match. The Golden Dragon did not take her eyes off her rival. Her heart was beating steadily, but she couldn't wait to start the fight. Hardcore usually meant complete insanity. Especially when it came to the golden belt. The last two hardcore champions lived only to enjoy the brutality that hardcore revealed to them. And although it was more of a philosophical question, Astrid did not treat hardcore another way. The Norwegian woman saw this not as a way to satisfy a thirst for blood, but as a way to push herself to the limit.

However, the Golden Dragon was not going to give the Russian woman freedom of action. Fists were Astrid's main weapon and she knew how to use them. Evading Galina's dynamic punch, Astrid launched her own offensive. Her fist smashed into her opponent's head. Despite the fact that the blonde was a very heavy woman, for her size she moved very quickly and freely.

In an instant, another fist crashed into Galina's head, because of this, saliva flew out of the mouth of the Russian woman, accompanied by loud screams from the audience. She intended to push her opponent back in order to then continue the offensive even more fiercely.

She knew that the kick was supposed to throw Galina almost into the opposite edge of the ring. It's a fight. Bloody, but still a fight. And although there were no rules in hardcore, this did not give Galina the right to try to tear a piece of flesh from Astrid.

The teeth digging into her skin caused a storm of pain that she wasn't used to. The blonde felt that blood began to flow down her cheek. But that wasn't the only thing she felt. She was filled with rage. She was ready for a fight to the death, but she wasn't ready for such dirty things. The Golden Dragon's hands reached out to her opponent's thighs to grab them.

Trying to act quickly to prevent Galina from biting off a piece of her cheek, Astrid was determined to lift the Russian woman above the mat. Was she going to throw her down? It was stupid to deny it, Astrid wasn't ready for such shit. Many people could probably say that this is a hardcore match and that there are no restrictions here. Yes, indeed. There was just one small problem. If you follow only this principle, then Galina could easily bring a knife and just cut the Golden Dragon's throat. There are no rules here, right?

Astrid wasn't the biggest moralist in the world. Behind her soul, too, there were enough episodes when she went beyond the boundaries in terms of cruelty. But first of all, she always remained a fighter. And in the ring, she always behaved like a fighter, not like an animal.
