A FIRST TIME MEETING: KEVIN DEREK VS. RAFAEL VEGA

No one said that every fight is going to be elegant as Rafael and Kevin scrap it out on the canvas.  Kevin's plan half working and keeps the guillotine less than full force for the moment.

"Are you part leech?"

He yells out at Rafael in frustration as his left leg gets ensnared and he feels the muscles in his opponents legs tightening up along with his arms.

"GRAAHHHHHH"

Growling out as the choke starts to sink back in against his neck and knowing he is in a bad spot .... bad but maybe not impossible.

Before Rafael's legs tighten fully, Kevin slides his thigh up tight against the punk kids bulge to grind in.  Not above playing at distraction if it helps him out of this.  His jabs come back in 1, 2, 3 more times but will less force due to shift in their positions.  Fighting hard not to let Rafael suck him in any deeper.

Rafael snickers as Kevin asks him if were part bloodsucking parasite because then it meant that his stubbornness was paying off and his opponent was feeling it. There's plenty of rustling around again as Kevin tries to wiggle himself out of this trap, resulting in the guy's thigh continually grinding directly against his bulge. Nothing new for someone accustomed to groundwork, but this time there was something different about it. It seemed more...intentional? Was he doing it on purpose?

Well damn, it was working and Rafael grunts as he realizes his grip had slackened a bit. Time to tighten that right back up when-- "Urgh!" -- three more hits spike into his exposed obliques again. The strikes combined with the intentional grinding pop Rafael's hands apart as he loses the securing force while wincing. However if Kevin was not fast enough, then they would be right back at square one as Rafael starts choking him harder, extra fueled by frustration.

"YES .. THAT'S IT!"

Kevin shouts out as Rafael's hands part and his thrashing, punching and grinding gets results.  Rushing it to try and match or beat the Brazilian's speed, he goes for a break away attempt.

With his hands coming up and gripping the arms of his close in opponent to momentarily jerk them apart, he makes his dangerous move.  Rolling his body hard away from Rafael's upper body even though his left leg is still scissored.  Feeling his head clear the human leech's body and putting his free foot against the tanned thighs holding his leg trying to break loose.

Knowing that he just gave up his back if unsuccessful but already committed to the play.

Kevin seizes his opportunity and runs with it by rolling and shoving and breaking the guillotine apart. A foot then plants on Rafael's thigh as Kevin continues to push and he has half a mind to try and wrestle him back under control. But Rafa knows better than to waste energy on a lost cause like that he begrudgingly unclenches his legs and rolls away opposite from Kevin and back onto his knees.

Rafael sits up with hands posted on his thighs, panting open-mouthed as he works on catching his breath. So close! So close had he been to winning that fall, and yet Kevin was too much of a dumbass to tap.

"You should have just tapped!" he complains as he slaps the front of his thighs and stands up. "Now it's just gonna hurt"

Kevin is in full on retreat mode as his leg is released.  Rolling to the ropes and using them to pull his bigger body up to his feet.  Glistening from the effects of being locked in tight with his opponent and having to fight full force to get away.

"DAMN KID ... you're like quicksand"

Giving his opponent a nod for hanging onto him for as long as he did, knowing that's a very hard thing to do.  Kevin sees that Rafael is panting and decides to press in on him even though he could use a few more seconds to catch his breath as well. Coming in quick like before and brings his arms up a second time hoping Rafael will go for it.  His knee coming up as he gets close looking to drive a deep gut shot in so he can get in on the guy.

Rafael sees Kevin coming and has to cut his breaktime short in order to make it back into a ready position in time. He knows his own limits well and wants to gain an early lead by taking the first round, so he's eager to restart the action as well. He clocks the grapple again and raises his arms, and even charges in to meet Kevin halfway. Rafa's hands take hold of Kevin's shoulders and his plan is to try and pull in nice and tight where he could get hands on his hips, as a hip toss was always a fun move to use on a larger opponent.

But Kevin's grapple was less a grapple and more an excuse to throw his knee into Rafael's gut. The brazilian coughs as the joint blasts his abs and he releases Kevin as he stumbles backwards, one arm strewn across his gut while the other swings out to retain balance. He's now the one in full retreat, counting his lucky stars that it hadnt fully knocked the wind out or knocked him down.

"Oh No You Don't"

Kevin's knee sinks in and as Rafael pulls back and covers up, he moves in with him.  Wanting a little payback for that time spent snugged up to his opponents bicep and side so he reaches out with his left arm and grabs Rafael's head.  

"Let's slow this down a bit"

Already knowing the hard way that Rafael is faster so he goes pulls his head in tight to his toned side and grinds his forearm in with a side headlock.  Walking the shorter dude around the ring and working the hold.

Rafael's retreat is quickly pursued by Kevin with arms outstretched and the younger man backpedals faster till his back reaches the ropes. Shit, out of room! He starts to sidestep and reaches up with a sweep of his arms, parrying Kevin's first grasp but falling victim to the second. His head is now the one dragged in and trapped tight against Kevin's side while he feels the flexed bicep squeeze against his cheek and skull.

Rafael's hands travel blindly grasping at Kevin's sides and arms as he tries to find the wrist to latch onto. Though he digs his feet in Kevin is insisted on dragging him around the ring like some kind of puppy dog on a leash. "Fine then, have it your way!" he shouts in response. Rafael digs his feet in once more, but this time to kick off and power forward. With his limited vision he tries to rush Kevin into a turnbuckle slam, much easier planned in his head than executed.

"Enjoying your walk?"

Taunting his collared opponent as they walk around the ring with Kevin wearing a big grin.  His arm grinding in against Rafael's cheek as he digs in and pulls around some.

"Easy there ... don't wanna hurt that neck little guy"

His smile quickly gets wiped away as Rafael gets all crazy and sends both of them forward toward the ropes and corner ... "what the ... UNNN!"  

The haphazard shove forward drives Kevin into the ropes first and then into the corner post.  His right shoulder and hip connect hard enough to cause some pain but not taking the full hit directly.  Headlock is jarred and loosens up for a few seconds as Kevin shakes it off.

LITTLE GUY? Kid was bad enough, but that one was just too far. Rafael was positively steamed now and would be giving everything that much extra effort. He also took extra pleasure upon spearing Kevin first into the ropes, then keeping the pressure up to corral him right into the corner.

"Arthritis acting up?" he taunts as Kevin's headlock loosens. He grabs onto the middle ropes on either side of the guy and pulls back as much he can, then together kicks off and yanks himself forward trying to drive his shoulder fully into Kevin's gut as a bit of toxic revenge.
