Aoki Natsumi

Aoki is driven and adventurous, always out there searching for fun and higher strides for her and her family. She's friendly and affable and gets along well with a lot of people. As a friend, she's sympathetic and dependable and supports people as long as she can, knowing struggle at all of its sides. Her former life kept her humbled and a soft-spoken girl.

But as The Purple Empress, she is absolute. She's the one who demands respect and praise. Being in custom wrestling for so long cultivated this persona as they wrote her as a dominating figure. One that put other wrestlers to shame with her strength and prowess. Aoki abided by this, thinking of it as a mere bit to show. But as time went on, this act slowly seeped through her character, even long after she left the promo.

Although now in the competitive scene, The Purple Empress is more gentle. Even though some of its features still rise to the surface from time to time, she carries it in mischief. She's teasing and labels her bearings, bad or good, as larks. Things that she does are never meant to harm, all being just for the sport and the show. With it, she also treats what's done to her as such. She's one never to hold a grudge as long as they also leave on the same page. She seeks to make the best out of AFW as she likes the competition it provides—something that her former profession lacked. With this, her record doesn't really affect her. Deciding to carry onward, win or lose.






Aoki's story is not the kind that is star-spangled, full of colors, or worthy of its own soap opera. Aoki was born in an unlucky family, struggling to live paycheck to paycheck in a not-so-glamorous part of Hokkaido. Her older siblings had to take scanty jobs as soon as they were old enough to have one. Since she was little, she grew to accept their status but still had hope of higher strides. Like bringing the whole family to Tokyo and indulge what more life could offer. With that, she worked at a young age. And she did so, diligently. She took racket jobs left and right; opportunities that came her way are grabbed when she can. Waitress, janitress, saleswoman—she took all of it.

Still, none of those hard work was ever enough. Every time Aoki rose, she fell, often because of misfortunes that befell them. Sickness, storms that ravaged their modest house, and outright bad luck. Huge-paying jobs were scarce, but one presented itself through a chance meetup.

An owner of a struggling custom wrestling business approached her.  The promotion was in shambles, in dire need of a new star to kick it back to life. And in the eyes of the businessman, Aoki was the one. With colorful words, high pay, and promises of a better life...in Tokyo! Aoki agreed gleefully. Gladly, all those promises were true. They were given a house in the bustling city of Tokyo. Albeit a small one, it was far better than what they had back home. Her dream came true in one fell swoop.  

And about her job? Everything just clicked! Her busty and huge size radiated dominance the way her character demanded. The Purple Empress was a persona with a knack for beating and belittling out foes with various pins and holds. The business boomed, lifted solely by the Purple Empress. But just as the money was flowing like an endless stream, she grew tired of it. She didn't want any of it anymore. A high that engulfed her to a feeling of jadedness. She wanted excitement beyond all. More the life could offer.  And there is nothing like that to be had when shackled by the scripts. She needed competition. So, she sought once again. But she need not look far as by then Se7en Entertainment already had their eyes upon her for quite some time. They signed a contract for her to join their roster and bring the Purple Empress to the big leagues!
