Chained match series

An article by Any Nymus

Storytelling and kayfabe are dead in wrestling. This is what you will hear from every  wrestler or promoter, and most of them will say it with a deep sigh on the lips. And in times of Twitter, discord or reddit, many common fans will probably agree with them. Especially when you see people who have a heated rivalry in a federation hug it out in their shared vacancy instead of giving interviews how they despise their hated rivals, or how a princess charming of Friction is very shy in her free time when you meet her on the streets. Or a monster heel of Tension is just a common guy in real life who  does his taxes like everybody else.

Therefore the R&D development department of AFW is proud to give you a little insight into a impromptu project that nearly wrote itself here in our planning central. A series of matches, originally not planned to be connected, gave us the opportunity to link some matches together.

What are the chained matches?
The chained matches are some matches in which former matches of the participants are used as a story hook for their actual match. There are no maps and no extra league or anything like that. Just some girls who are connected by a story that will write itself. No script. No long yackedy yacks on discord or anywhere else. Just references so that you can let your imagination run wild and maybe even book yourself in a connective way.

Current connected matches are:

http://afwrpg.forumotion.com/t17956-luna-ashcroft-vs-amaya-morimura-thrall-or-fall-special-stipulation-match
http://afwrpg.forumotion.com/t19622-evening-gown-match-ailinn-vs-amaya
http://afwrpg.forumotion.com/t19451-slay-or-stay-triin-vs-luna-special-stipulation

Why link this? A match is a match, so what gives?
Surely, you can see it that way. But you could also see it as a chance to get a connection with no cost or long time planning for anyone.

Who can link his or her match?
Obviously the match has to be settled into a middle age period, and characters have to pretend at least a little bit that they are immersed in their own story.
