Layla McCarthy vs Natasha Han

The AFW arena was abuzz tonight as they were ready for the appearence of the league's newest fighter. Everyone was eager to see who she was and what she was bringing to the ring. They wouldn't have to wait long though as her music came on. Green spotlights lit up and arched over the entranceway. Out strode Layla McCarthy, the spotlights matching her outfit. But the first thing the crowd noticed was how small she was, even smaller than most of the Kawaii wrestlers. The only difference was she didn't look as bubbly or happy as them. In fact she looked downright cold.

She strode bown the ramp without show, not caring about the crowd who were already judging her. She would show them what she was made of. Climbing into the ring Layla went to her corner, awaiting her opponant.

Not long after Layla made her debut entrance, the music would switch to that of the Russian fighter, Natasha Han, who appeared atop the entrance ramp in a proud pose. She would let the crowd cheer a bit for her before she headed down to the ring and climbed in. Her eyes fell upon her opponent, and the Russian would look her over with a gentle, almost playful smirk.

"Little girl? I think you are being in the wrong place...this ring is for fighters, ja?" Natasha winked to Layla, then chuckled softly towards her.

As soon as Layla caught sight of her opponant she immediately noted how tall she was. It suited her just fine. She looked pretty strong, a real wrestler. Layla didn't care about that, she was here to win.

Natasha's attitude towards Layla was to be expected, she was rather short for someone of her age. That didn't change the fact that Layla knew how to fight, and how she pissed she was at the woman before her. "You're about to eat those words, bean pole," Layla replied grudgingly. When the bell rang she slipped into a defensive stance, ready for whatever Natasha would throw at her.

Natasha frowned slightly, shaking her head and raising her own arms up in defense.

"I was only making with a friendly joke, dear, I did not mean offense.."

Regardless, she would begin to circle around the smaller girl, then rush in after a moment to try and lock up with her.

Layla's eyes narrowed upon Natasha. If the woman thought it was okay to joke about her size she was dead wrong. She couldn't wait to make her regret her words.

As soon as Natasha rushed at her, Layla shifted her stance. She's grab at Natsha's arm, place one hand against her stomach, and using the momentum, toss Natsha right over her head and onto the mat. If it worked, Layla would hold onto her arm afterwards.

This sudden shifting by Layla would throw Natasha off her guard, a 'gurk' sound passing her lips as Layla grabbed for her. The next thing she knew, she had fell into the mat onto her back, Layla still holding her arm tight.

Layla smirked victoriously. That had worked out exactly as she had planned. While she wasn't exceptionally strong, she knew techniques that would turn the size and weight of her enemy against her. That meant that it worked against just about anyone that would go against her. Still holding Natasha's arm, Layla would send a pinpoint kick right into her armpit.

Natasha strained a bit, trying to free her arm from Layla's grasp. It was that moment though, that Layla's kick would strike her, causing her to yelp and jerk a bit.

Layla's was pleased at how this was going so far. Clearly Natasha had underestimated her. It was a mistake she would pay for. She was going to show all the owman in the AFW not to underestimate her. Layla was still holding Natasha's arm, and she would suddenly stomp her foot hard on the woman's chest, keeping it planted there. She would then yank on the woman's arm, almost trying to pull it out of its socket.

Natasha took the stomp and jerked a second time. She HAD underestimated Layla, just a bit, and now she was paying for it.

She then felt Layla trying to yank on her arm, and would let out a low groan, closing her eyes and trying to pull her arm back towards herself, flexing the firm muscles in it to try and counter Layla's own pulling.
