Thunder Ryuko Vs. Megumi Mutoh

Thunder Ryuko had a bit of a smug smile on her face as she was now torturing Megumi in the reversed hold, causing a massive pain upon the young fighter. The lovely combat genius found one way to struggle as she started to crawl and drag them towards the ropes.

To her surprise, Thunder Ryuko was being pulled towards the ropes, by the desperate struggles of Megumi to free herself. Finally, the ropes were in the hand of the red clad fighter, and Thunder Ryuko would be forced to release her opponent. Moving up towards her feet, after untangling her legs, Thunder Ryuko would pant out a bit, her body glistening lightly with sweat as she would look on at her fellow Wrestle Angels veteran.

" The saying tough as a nail might not even do you justice..." Thunder Ryuko muttered out under her breath as she looked on at her foe.

Finally, Megumi managed to reach the ropes, and she clung tightly on it until Ryuko released her from the hold. Grunting, Megumi would then pull herself up using the ropes, grunting and gritting her teeth as she would regain her footing soon afterwards. She tried to ignore the painful sensation around her legs as she would then turn around, looking at her opponent who had proven herself to be a very exceptional adversary. Then again, it had been proven again and again every time they clashed with each other.

"Guh... it means so much, coming from you..." Megumi said between pants. Soon, she would let go of the ropes, stepping away from them as she would prepare herself for another clash with Ryuko. Her body was glistening with sweat, and some parts of her body was throbbing with pain. But, Megumi ignored them as she focused on trying to win this match.

This time, Megumi decided to throw caution and carefulness out of the window as she would rush forward, seemingly looking to crash into Ryuko headfirst only to lower down and slide past her. Hoping to catch Ryuko off-guard with her sudden change in trajectory, Megumi would try to deliver a kick right into the back of her fellow Wrestle Angel alumnus.

Watching Megumi and hearing those words from the red clad fighter, Thunder Ryuko would put on a smug little smile on her face and straighten out a little. Watching Megumi release the ropes, Thunder Ryuko would raise her arms and prepare to clash once more with Megumi Mutoh.

She would shake her head a little, a drop of sweat dripping from her chin as it had rolled it's way down from her forehead, a light shine of sweat on her body as she continued to look on at the Combat Genius.

She saw how Megumi charged in and was about to raise her leg to drive it into Megumi's chest, but the woman stepped aside and slipped in behind her, throwing a kick up to the back of Thunder Ryuko, "Aagh!" she yelped out in pain as she was forced to stagger forward, hand going down to her back to hold it as she would curse under her breath.

Sending Ryuko staggering forward after kicking her at the back, Megumi saw an opportunity for another attack. Coming from behind her opponent, Megumi would then try to snake her arms under Ryuko's armpits, locking them tightly. From there, she would try to lift her opponent up, hoping to throw her backwards onto the mat with a picture perfect dragon suplex!

And not only that, Megumi would also get herself on her tiptoes, looking to go for a bridging pin, making sure that Ryuko's shoulders were pressed against the mat after throwing her down into the mat with the dragon suplex.

That kick had caused the brunette to stagger forward, but before she could do anything like turn around, Megumi's body was pushing right up against her back, causing a faint blush on Thunder Ryuko's face as she felt that chest of Megumi push against her back.

Before she knew what the Combat Genius had planned, she would feel her arms trapped in that full nelson and then her feet left the mat. Flying through the air, she was suddenly brought down hard onto her shoulders in a brutal Dragon Suplex!

The impact sent the crowd into cheers as the referee quickly slid in next to the two of them and would start the pin count, Thunder Ryuko's legs folded over her frame as her toes touched the mat.

" One!.."

Megumi planned to win this match, and she would maintain her hold on Ryuko as she kept bridging her own body, pressing her fellow Angel's shoulders against the mat for the bridging pin after throwing her over with a dragon suplex. Her body trembled a bit as she would try to maintain the position, hoping that the black-clad wrestler wouldn't kick out of this pinfall attempt at the last second.

"TWO!"

While there might be a possibility that Ryuko would kick out before the referee could reach three, Megumi was hoping that she could end this match with the suplex, thus emerging victorious over her powerful opponent.

The two count came and Thunder Ryuko was still folded over, but her senses came back to her and with it the Goddess of Rebellion's trademark power came into play! Her body bucked up and shot to the side to try and get free from the pinning position, and land on her side instead!

Right before the referee's hand could even hit the mat, breaking free just in time which had the referee quickly raise her arm up into the air to show that it was only a two count.

Much to her disappointment, Ryuko managed to kick out after two, and Megumi let go of Ryuko as she would get herself onto her knees, panting slightly. Ryuko had proven herself to be a worthwhile adversary, though Megumi planned to win this in order to prove her own worth here in AFW. Grunting, Megumi would get herself back onto her feet, looking to grab onto Ryuko's head to keep her in place and get her into a seating position.

"Raarrhhh!!" Letting out a hot-blooded yell, Megumi would try to nail a knee strike right into the middle of Ryuko's forehead, hoping to leave the black-clad wrestler disoriented. She needed to keep the offense going in order to maintain her dominance over her opponent, hoping to give herself enough opportunity to win this match.

Ryuko was still gathering her thoughts as she had just managed to kick out from that pin, before Megumi was on her and took a hold of her head, pulling her up into a seated position as she would then feel a sharp pain in her skull as Megumi's knee smashed into her forehead.

" Aagh!" Thunder Ryuko cried out as she was thrown down onto her back, hands moving up to hold her hurting head as her right foot kicked down against the canvas a bit, groaning out as she was seeing stars right now...

Driving her knee right into Ryuko's forehead, Megumi would plant her feet as she stood over the downed form of her opponent. Grunting, she would not stop as she would grab onto her opponent's body, looking to pull her up and bring her up onto her shoulders, placing her in a fireman's carry. She let out a groan as she would carry the weight of her opponent while trying to straighten herself up.

"Oooryahhh!!" Then, she would try to bring Ryuko down sideways, driving her headfirst into the mat with a death valley driver! It was one of her signature moves ever since her time at Wrestle Angels, and she was sure that the move would deal quite a massive damage on her opponent.
