A New Era

Sarah stood in place and blinked in astonishment at their odd choice for drinks, and then she frowned. She walked to the fridge, opened it, and looked over its contents. "We got beer, milk, juice, rum and coke. Take it or leave it."

Both Nha and Sha sighed though they might aswell take it since they were thirsty, both Egyptians were thirsty enough to accept any type of drink. " I guess I'll go with juice. " Nha thought she might aswell have one kind of juice other then no kind, she was more on the fruit kind of side, enjoying such drinks while Sha was alot more of the energy drink sort of side but it didn't seem Sarah had any. " Coke... Please. "

Sarah nodded and went pour their drnks, all the while muttering "What am I, a grocery store?" to herself. Once the drinks were poured, Sarah brought them to the twins. "You know, girls, I think we got off on the wrong foot," she said, handing Nha her juice. "If you weren't so hellbent on destroying me, we could have been great friends."

" Orders are orders, you understand, don't you? "

" More like your jealousy to get Sarah. "

The two argued for a bit before they stopped, both taking a short sip from their drinks, for a moment Sha thought she saw something through the window but shook her head, looking back up at te grey clouds and a few birds that flew around, as if they were circling a carcass.

"Orders? I've never really got many of them in my life. I'm usaully the one giving them. But you know that, don't you?" Sachuckled a bit, returning to the fridge to get a drink of her own. "My point is, if you don't like the way I'm treating you, or am unhappy about my lack of respect.....too bad. You want respect? You want trust? Earn it and move your way up the ladder. Just like me."

Nha and Sha merely drunk from the filled glasses, Nha closing her eyes and resting back against the cheer, for now it seemed everything was going peacefully for a change, holding the glass on her lap and making sure it wouldn't spill, Sha just keeping the glass in her hand and watching the scenary outside.

" We understand. "

Sarah smirked, grabbing herself a beer from the fridge. "I'm glad to hear it," she replied, popping the top off. SHe looked over the girls, ttok a sip from her beer and sighed. "Don't get to comfortable ladies. I'm expecting company pretty soon."

" Oh? Should we leave? "

Nha drunk all the juice from her glass and stood up to head to the kitchen to put the empty glass in the sink, She just being slow and gentle with ehr own drink, placing her cheek on the glas while she watched two birds fight over a piece of bread.

Sarah grinned widely. "No, no, stay! It'll be a good time. This girl could really use some friends, she said so herself." Sarah quickly checked what time it wa with a clock on the wall. "She's a little later than I thought she'd be. Oh well! That just leaves us more time to get to know one another." She walked up to Nha and put her arm around her shoulders. "Ain't that right, Nha?"

Nha let out a tiny squeak when the arm was around her shoulders, blushing immidiatly as she gazed over at Sarah and nodded quickly. " Y-Yes! " Sha blinked a few times when she thought she saw someone this time but again it seemed like it were just the crows.
