At this point, everything was blurry for Yuki. The sounds of the crowd, her vision, the words of her opponent, everything seemed like they were dimming. She was panting heavily, eyes unfocused as she directed her gaze at Manami, who no doubt might have said something disparaging to her. She was practically running on fumes at this rate, every fiber of her muscles throbbing and aching from all the punishments she took from her opponent.

And then, she took something hard in her stomach, a kick from Manami, and she gasped, doubling over. "Hrghh!!" Then, Manami spun around, grabbing hold of her head before she was thrown over Manami's shoulder, flipping before ending up crashing on her back.

Her body bounced upon impact before going limp, blue hair splayed on the mat. She was a sweaty mess on the canvas, lying spread eagle, her heavy chest heaving up and down as she panted. Just like last time during her fight against Gwendolyn, her resolve was once again broken, and she was unable to muster any more strength to even lift a finger. Not that she had any strength left in her, of course.

She could faintly hear the sounds of the crowd trying to encourage her, urging her to get up, despite how obvious it was that she was unable to get up anymore. She could only let out a weak whimper, lamenting over her own weakness. She could only wish that this whole thing would be over soon.

Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf - Page 6 Empty Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf

Ah, the cheers of support for the underdog. The howls of anger toward the wolf for having the audacity to press the advantage. If they wanted to blame anyone, they should blame Yuki for being so weak. For having the audacity to stand before her opponent, sprinkle tears in front of them, and think she could walk away deserving anything less.

Manami looked down at the martial artist as she whimpered and groaned pathetically against the canvas. The corners of her mouth crooked into the faintest hint of a smile. As much as she resented the disappointment the woman had turned out to be, it at least gave the Wolf Girl some degree of compensation by seeing Yuki learn her lesson. The harshest lesson she would endure for some time now: never disappoint Manami Kuroda.

She kneeled down and picked up the blue-haired woman by her head. Forcing Yuki to sit upright, Manami would sit down behind her before wrapping her legs around the martial artist’s waist, tightening a pair of body scissors around her. At the same time, she would wrap her arms around the waif’s dainty neck with a rear naked chokehold. As her extremities tightened around her prey, Manami would lean in, bringing her mouth close to the girl’s ear beneath her immaculate blue strands.

“Fade into nothing.” She’d nuzzle closer to her ear, breathing heated breaths and speaking venomous words as the martial artist fell into darkness. “Watch as the world sees you for what you truly are.”

Just a little tighter. Just a little longer. And the heiress would find her well-earned rest as the wolf’s jaws clamped around her.

Still unable to move, Yuki then was pulled up by Manami and forcefully put in a sitting position. She could faintly feel Manami sitting right behind her, wrapping her legs around her body with a bodyscissor. And then, Yuki could feel Manami's arms wrapping around her neck, tightening as well. With both bodyscissor and rear naked choke tightening around her, the world started to fade around Yuki.

Unable to breathe, Yuki opened her mouth, squirming helplessly in Manami's powerful hold. Everything around her seemed so far away from her. Letting out a wheezing noise as her airway was blocked, she was slowly losing her consciousness. Drools started coming out of her mouth while her eyes rolled up slightly, making her look rather undignified and pathetic.

Eventually, her squirming stopped as she finally lost her consciousness. Yuki Onna had been knocked out by Manami, leaving her in the a rather humiliating state. The ref would urge Manami to release the unconscious Yuki as she would call for the bell, ending the match. Letting Manami keep the hold for a little longer would be dangerous for Yuki.

The last bit of breath leaving Yuki’s lips drew a violent smirk from the Wolf Girl’s mouth. Watching her head loll to the side, seeing dribble after dribble of saliva and regret gracing the canvas. It all served to tear the martial artist down from the foundations. Where did that pedigree of hers get her now? Vermin like this needed to be eradicated.

Manami kept the hold going for a few seconds longer, wanting to ensure that Yuki could fully grasp the depths of her failings when she came back to learn from her mistakes. To realize how insurmountable the mountain laid before her truly was. And when that revelation finally came to light, she would do the right thing and give up all together. It was a thought that made Manami’s smile all the brighter. She bring her head closer and whisper into the weakling’s ear.

Oyasumi, whelp.”

Uncurling her arms and legs, she’d shove the pitiful heiress to the side, not bothering to spare even a glance in the woman’s direction as Yuki fell face first onto the canvas. Manami would stand up and face the audience at the center of the ring, finally allowing the referee to do her job and raise an arm for the crowds. A resounding chorus of jeers followed. Typical.

Aw, how sad. Their pretty little underachiever didn’t have the strength to win the match. Please, as if they didn’t already know the outcome. Coddle the weak, this is how they all ended up sooner or later.

The Wolf Girl merely rolled her eyes in contempt. None of them were worth the bother tonight. Not after this disappointment. She merely turned to the side, slipped between the ropes, and walked up the ramp to disappear backstage without sparing a second glance inbetween.

Such a shame. All of it.

Yuki didn't regain her consciousness right away after being released from the choke. Her body flopped uselessly on the mat right after being released, looking pitiful and miserable. And she remained so even after Manami left the ring and the arena. When the paramedic finally came to check on her, she managed to squeak out a weak, faint response, but her condition wasn't good and had to be carried out of the ring via a stretcher.

This had been another humiliating defeat for Yuki Onna, and this match would be another demerit in her record, which was something that she could and would never live down, no matter what.

Perhaps Manami was right all along. Perhaps she was unsuited to be in the ring at all. Still, despite having her self-esteem and belief in herself crushed to smithereens, there was still part of her that still believed that she could make it. It would resurface later, long after this match, but at the moment, she was at her lowest. It would take her quite a while to recover from such an embarrassing loss.

Winner: Manami Kuroda via knock-out
