Anna vs Sakura!

It had been awhile since she stepped in the ring and she was certainly going to make it count. Afterall she was facing some newer chick, well a true least new to this scene and she couldn't afford to look weak. Shadow boxing in a mirror she turned on cue and made way for the entrance.

Coming out to a quieter reaction then before her face noticeably looking curious at this reaction before she simply marched on down to the ring. High fiving fans that offered there's while she started to enter the ring. Cracking her knuckles as she awaited Sakura to show her face.

Sakura was making all the headlines during the past couple of weeks. After joining her mentor and jumping brands from Berserk to AFW, it was now up to her to prove that she was not just in the wrestling business as a glorified jobber, but was here to make an impact and win titles.

After neatly fitting into her red and white wrestling one piece, Sakura would move out of the locker room and head towards the arena. Once her music cued, she would walk out of the gorilla position with a smile on her face as she waved to the crowd.

She knew she was going to be wrestling a boxer, which was something unique but Sakura was not going to back down. She hopped up in the ring and made her way inside, walking to the middle of the ring with her hand extended, looking to offer her opponent a respectful way to start the match.

"Hi! I'm Sakura Hagiwara, let's have a good match!" the teen idol would smile.

Anna eyed her opponent on the way down to the ramp. Sakura wasn't exactly a name easy to ignore when she appeared everywhere and on everything. But that just made this match more delightful for her. Afterall if she won she would be be knocking off a name everyone knew and that would get her name in some of that spotlight Sakura seemed to have around her. which would really help with the slump and lack of actual matches she's been getting recently.

Anna was trying to prepare herself accordingly, taking her offered hand and shaking it with a firm but not unkind smile on her face. "Anna Ivers. The next girl to take you down. And you can expect my best in this match. I expect yours." she said as she let go of her hand and backed away. Cracking her knuckle for while awaiting the bell.

With Hagiwara carrying the name from her pop idol days and the name of Berserk, she was bound to attract fans and enemies alike. Even though she always claimed that she did this for herself as much as the fans, she never claimed to be the best, her aim was always to climb up to the top ladder but because of her past, all eyes were on her and she had a certain degree of expectation to perform in the ring, which would rub off her opponent's in the wrong way.

The idol would walk in the ring with a friendly smile on her lip as she offered her hand for a respectful handshake, she was glad her opponent shook it but none too happy about the words that followed.

Sakura tried to have a serious expression on her face as the two backed up " Fine then, I guess you want to play it the hard way? Fine by me" she would reply, bouncing on the balls of her heels and rolling her shoulders.

*DING*DING*DING*

"Its the only way I play anything my friend." Anna said pulling her hand away and backing up to get into position. She needed this win just as much as anything and she was going to do what she needed to win and show she was better then the pop idol. Not that she had any beef with the chick herself, while some would find it insulting Anna knew it took some serious bravery to step out of your comfort zone and into something else.

Not that the respect points would hold back her punches getting into her corner and waiting for the bell to ring Anna would move in closer bringing her hands up to keep from being caught unprepared as she tried to close the distance and start throwing small kabs to to test her defenses.

Sakura would give her opponent a fierce look as this was not going to be a light hearted match, her opponent was serious about this and she had to be equally serious if she wanted to win this match. Despite not knowing each other, it was clear to Hagiwara that her opponent demanded a serious intensity from her and she was gladly going to oblige.

After the bell would ring, both wrestlers would move out to the middle of the ring from their respective corners, her opponent nailed her with a couple of small jabs at her body which she beared and grunted in pain. Sakura would wait a couple of more jabs to her body before finally trying to lunge in and grab one of her arms while she was aiming a jab at her, trying to grip that arm tightly before spinning in behind Anna and attempting to lock in a hammerlock submission!

Anna kept the pace of the match simple and started working Sakura's defenses with jabs. And not even her hardest hits either but simple jabs to keep her opponent on her toes while getting some good hits in. Sakura felled back and Anna made some good ground trying to go after her before the girl moved in grabbing at her arm and pulling it into a hammerlock as she got behind her.

"Nagh.." Anna's chest shot up as her arm was bent to the side and her hand tapped her arm as she vainly tried to grab at her opponent's arm. Stuck in the lock Anna tried to slowly turn and get herself free before Sakura's could really use the hold to her advantage.

Sakura was about to show her opponent that she wasn't just a pushover, that she could take hits as well as dish them out. After bearing through a couple of quick jabs to her body, the former idol quickly grabbed one of her opponent's arm as she was about to dish out another jab, then pulling it behind her back as she locked in a hammerlock.

Sakura smiled as she twisted and wrenched that arm high up Anna's back, really torquing in the submission hold. "Don't take my lightly Anna-san" she would say, as she tried to fight off her opponent's resistance.

Slowly Anna tried to gain as much ground on the submission hold as she could. Sakura was making sure to make that difficult but that didn't stop or even deter her from trying to succeed as she tried to swiftly get low and run around to get out of the infuriating submission hold. And better yet turn it on her opponent while she was at it.

"Oh I'm not I'm just sure of my chances to win that's all." Anna said back as she was now trying to lock in and put pressure on the hammer lock and do some damage all the while pushing Sakura forward and looking to get her near the ropes.

Sakura Hagiwara was quite confident in her submission hold, perhaps too confident. As she twisted and wrenched her opponent's arm in the hold, Anna would slowly but surely make her way out of the hold and quickly countering it, grabbing Sakura's arm and taking it behind her, locking it into a hammerlock of her own.

Sakura moaned in pain as it was her turn to be locked in the same submission hold. Sakura tried to twist at the hip, looking over her shoulder while also trying to bend down a bit as she attempted to wriggle free all the while she was being pushed to the ropes.
