Matt Floyd vs Eriko

Matt Floyd stalked onto the Grounds with a less than happy mood, wearing a pair of track pants and black AC/DC t-shirt. The reason for his mood was because this was one of the few clothes that he was able to wear. A less than favourable prank not to long ago found most of his wardrobe sewn together and raised up the flag pole of the Girl's Dorm, high and proud for all to see. He managed to get it down, but unsewing them would take a little longer. Courtesy of a certain woman. A certain woman he challenged to a match before he knew of the prank. And to add injury to insult, a match that he lost. "She'll pay for this," Matt growled to himself. He was on the Grounds today because he was on his way to the Girl's Dorm.

He needed to pay a visit to said certain woman.

Eriko slowly woke up - her one eye opening just enough for her to notice her alarm clock - 20 past 10 it read.

Time to get up - her room was a mess. She called out for her roommate, Mihiro, but there was no answer.

She's probably at the gym she thought to herself.

After cleaning herself up, Eriko started to pick up the clothes including a couple of pairs of socks and some bikini tops and bottoms that were scattered around her bedroom floor and placed them into a basket.

Oh, Mihiro - what will you ever do without me? she thought to herself and giggled.

Eriko left the apartment, with basket in hand and began walking along the Grounds. She noticed a figure walking towards her with an AC/DC shirt, mumbling to himself.

She had avoided eye contact, but she let out a little giggle as he stormed by.

Matt barely noticed the girl as she walked by him, too busy with his thoughts of revenge, and how satisfying it would be. That is, until the girl giggled at him. He stopped in his tracks. He was not in the mood for this. So he quickly spun as she was walking away. "Something funny?" he asked.

A bit embarassed that he had noticed her giggling at him, Eriko, at first just shook her head - holding the basket of dirty laundry up to her.

"No, nothing's funny" she said to the guy in the AC/DC shirt.

Matt narrowed his eyes at her. He didn't recognize her around the dorms. She must have been new to the place. She wasn't bad looking either, beautiful in fact. At any other day, at any other time, Matt would have been happy to meet and be talking to such a pretty girl. But today he had a mission.

"Liar," he said right out. There was probably only one reason she could be laughing at him. "I know what this is about. You saw the flag, didn't you?"

"Flag?" she said, a bit confused.

"What flag?"

Eriko honestly had no idea what he was talking about. Curious, she looked up and around for a flag, but saw none in sight.

"Uhmm.. I'm sorry, I don't know what you're talking about. But I was giggling though - I was giggling at how you were mumbling to yourself. Sorry."

Eriko started to walk away hoping that this would be the end of the conversation.

Matt blinked in surprise. She didn't know? Really? She was new, so she must have arrived here after the embarresing incident. Not that he was complaining. The less people to know about his shame the better.

As she started to walk away, Matt suddenly got an idea. He was on his way to the Girl's Dorm, ready to fight anyone on his way to his nemesis, and here was a girl now.

Time to send a message, Matt thought to himself.

"Uh, excuse me," Matt called after the girl, trying to sound as polite as possible. "Would you be interested in a match?"

As Eriko walked away, she heard the stranger's request.

"A match?" she said. "I'm sorry, but I'm kinda busy right now. Maybe some other time."

I never fought a guy before... she thought to herself. But even as her curiosity grew, her feet already made the decision to continue on it's intended path.

Eriko turned back around and walked a little faster towards her destination.

Matt had expected her not to go with it right away, not after she heard him mumbling to himself about 'revenge' and what not. Still, Matt was determined. His campaign agaist the girl's was starting here.

"Aw come on," he pretented to whine. "It's just a friendly bout. Shouldn't take too long. I haven't had a mtch in a while." He ran to catch up with her, and if he did he would smile kindly. "My name's Matt."

"Oh.." Eriko said, a bit surprised that the stranger, who now had a name, caught up to her, still requesting a match.

Eriko continued walking - "I'm sorry - I just don't wrestle guys - I'm just into girls - wait, no, that's not right. I only wrestle girls - I'm into guys like you - no, wait - I'm not into you. I'm just into guys - but not you."

Eriko was blushing bright red - she picked up the pace wishing that Mihiro would just show up - so that she could help her out of this.

"But wait a second" she stopped in her tracks.

"What do you mean, it shouldn't take long? What are you trying to say?"
