Crimson Snow; Seraphim and Tracy's encounter

A pained grin came to Seraphim's lips, the look in her eye like glass as it never changed and she slowly ate. She was happy to know that Tracy really wanted to do something for her, but she didn't see how there was really any possibility. Even the money Tracy had gotten Seraphim had been returned, Seraphim having anonymously dropped it off at the city station since it was going against exactly what Serpahim was saying right now. Looking at Tracy once more as she finished a few bites, she just casually waved her hand, firmly denying the offer before she placed her hand on Tracy's head, rubbing it softly. "Just do what you are doing right now. Try to make other people happy and help others." Her words were as delicate as an angels, like she was delivering a message from God himself, but the sadness never seemed to fade as she spoke. "...There's nothing you can do to help me, but if you can do this for others, then you'll start to find some strength in yourself as well."

" Make people happy and help others.....Got it. " Tracy smirked as Seraphim placed one hand on her head, making her feel really proud of the burden she had to carry now. But not even that smile seemed to affect her friend. But after she heard what she had to say, the perfect words came to her mind. " Then....I'll start with you... " Tracy only wanted to see Seraphim happy. And if the white haired girl trusted Tracy, it was because she could really do it. The kawaii redhead wouldnt stop until she saw Seraphim smile again.

At those words, Seraphim suddenly lifted her hand from Tracy's head, and brought it back to herself, trying to hold back a feeling she had in her. Seraphim pulled back, a soft smile hitting her lips, before finally, che clutched her stomach and started to burst out laughing, slapping the table and tilting her head back like she heard the funniest joke in the world at this point, and she couldn't stop.

"Aaaaaahahahaha!! Heh-heh.. are you kidding??? Ahahaha!! That's rich! Really, that's hilarious to even-"

"Ma'am, please settle down and-"

"Heh...heh-heh... alright, fuck off, I'll calm down.. haha... I'm cool."

Seraphim's laughter was cut short by one of the hostesses, causing Seraphim to mutter a curse under her smile, shrugging softly as she waved the girl away, able to contain her laughter now by this point and time, but still incredably amused. Finally, she would look back at Tracy, a hand still over her cheeks and lips as she held back any more laughs, calm enough to speak. "Really Tracy.. we're not shooting for the impossible. I only smile so people don't worry. You can't fix what's already broken, so don't worry about me, mkay?" Genuinely, Seraphim sounded happy, but the way she spoke about this all so calmly and with amusement, it made it sound like there was more truth to Seraphim's words than she first gave off. She never was -truly- happy... but that didn't mean she wouldn't smile.

It was a little embarrasing when Seraphim started to laugh really loud. Everyone was staring at them, and that only made the people in the place remember that Tracy was there. The kawaii redhead blushed slightly as she looked down at the pile of meat. As Seraphim stopped laughing, Tracy raised her head again and looked at her right into her eyes. What she was saying didnt seem a joke.

' You can't fix what's already broken '

With that, Tracy finally understood that there was nothing she could do to make Seraphim happy. Or at least, nothing that she actually could do. She promised herself that she will be the best student Seraphim ever had and ever will have. She thought that making her proud of her was the less she could do. Now she really wanted to start eating, but before she raised her utensils, she had something to say to Seraphim. " Okay...If I cant make you happy....At least I'll make you proud of me. You'll have to look up at me someday!! "

Seraphim had already gone back to eating, seeming like her normal self again as she lost that cold, self-hating outlook she had moments ago. But, seeing as how Seraphim admitted she was never -truly- happy, it was hard to look at the girl and find her to be truly living up to the emotion on her face, like finding out the big secret about someone, but knowing you couldn't do anything about it. Seraphim just retained her casual outlook again, eating steadily with good mannerism, but then pausing to hear what Tracy had told her.

"Now that is what I like to hear. Maybe you will be training me at some point if you're good enough. It could happen~" Seraphim didn't like to give false hope, and she wasn't lying either. She didn't doubt Tracy's skill, but she wasn't sure how the girl could possibley get better than she was. That was why she thought the only way it was possible would be if Seraphim experianced a debilitating injury.

And sadly, she saw that as a possibility, and didn't doubt it would happen to her soon enough.

Trying not to think about it, Seraphim just nodded with a small grin in the corner of her lips, taking a large bite out of a tender prime rib she cut up, nodding at Tracy a little. "Anything could happen, you just need to beleive you can do it if it's in the realm of possibility."

Now that Tracy had said all she wanted to, she started to eat. The hunger made her forget all of her table manners, and she just attacked her food, literally. She pierced the meat like if it were an enemy, and chomped on it like if she were trying to bite someone's face off. She was a real animal in the table, especially when she was this hungry. Even with her little body, her stomach was huge, and she felt like if she could eat an entire cow, 2 horses and 3 chickens. She would finish the first plate almost immediatly, already calling the waitress for the second one. As she rose her head to look around for the waitress, everyone would notice all that her mouth was entirely covered by the meat's sauce. " Pleaseee...I'm hungryyy~! " She shouted in middle of the place, completely forgetting there were actually other people eating.

A small sweatdrop came down the side of Seraphim's head with a nervous smile as she saw Tracy attack her plate like a hungry beast. Maybe Seraphim would have to also give Tracy some lessons in mannerisms, at least at the table anyway, because she really could use some. Seraphim used to be the same way though, and didn't learn how the proper ways until she was taken in at the church, and it was there she learned a much better standard of living and how to be more sophisticated, but it seemed she would have to pass that on to Tracy now. Not that she minded, she was really looking forward to teaching Tracy a lot of things, ...but it would be nice not to have so many people staring.

Well, look at the bright side, if Tracy was going to eat so much, it was a good thing Seraphim ordered the 'All you can eat.'

"Er, s-slow down, I don't want to have to pay for you getting your stomach pumped later." Seraphim said with another bead of sweat coming down her forehead with an awkward grin, clearly a bit embarressed, but still enjoying herself overall.

Tracy continued asking for more food. She wanted another plate, and she wanted it right away. It seemed like she completely ignored the white haired girl, but just when the waitress came with her second plate, the redhead took a moment to answer. " I'll be finee~! You dont have to worry about meee! " Tracy happily said. There was a wide smirk across her face. No one had ever seen her this happy before, and this was all thanks to Seraphim. Thanks to her presence and money. But especially to her presence. There were just a few persons in the world Tracy could call 'friend', but Seraphim already past that barrier. She was far more important than a simple friend.

And... without losing a second more, Tracy buried her face in the pile of meat once again, eating like a hungry boar. For everyone else in the place, it looked like the redhead hadnt eaten in a month, or probably more. She seemed desperate for finishing the food she had in front.

For the remainder of that wonderful day, Seraphim and Tracy had stuffed themselves full, took some time to tour the town together and chat about how they both knew some places here from growing up on the streets, and speaking about their time in the AFW and what things were like for them now. Seraphim had avoided really talking though about her past, and tried to keep the conversation light, not wanting to dampen the good mood that was placed. Thus, it didn't come as a surprise that the two of them would be able to get a wonderful rest that night, and for the first time in awhile, Seraphim was in high spirits that night.

Though the next day Seraphim was out at the AFW all day, having her match with Sharaiya Drackonov, it was the day after that Seraphim would find herself able to train with the girl, and had been expecting her to arrive shortly. Seraphim was waiting at a local gym, one that wasn't terribly far from the apartments, and the one eyed fighter was going through her stretches at this moment, anticipating Tracy's arrival. Like she promised, Tracy was allowed her time to stay at Seraphim's as long as she wanted, and she even managed to get a hold of a cheap bedroll and blankets for the girl to sleep in at her house, enough so it was comfortable, allowing her to sleep anywhere she wanted at the house really. Since Seraphim wasn't around the previous day because of her match though, Tracy would be forced to try food from Alison... which became a fire hazard very quickly that day.

That day being past though, Seraphim was more focused on the moment now, thinking about how she would run her training with Tracy, cracking her knuckles and doing a bit of shadowboxing as she waited. Currently, Seraphim was garbed in the simple training attire of a sleeveless, black shirt that hugged her well built and beautiful form nicely, and leather black pants, matching her shirt like she was ready to take on a mission more than training. Though the one thing that stuck out was the bandages she had on around her neck, bloodstained too, but she didn't let it bother her; Seraphim wore that wound like a badge of honor. So for now, she waited, having high expectations for today with Tracy.

After surviving Alison's food, Tracy thought there was nothing she couldnt take. She was ready for Seraphim's training, and though she knew it would be hard, she wasnt afraid at all. She exitted her friend's apartment and started to walk the streets towards the gym. But then, not much after she left the apartment, she stopped. The redhead thought it would be a good warming up exercise if she ran her way to the gym. And so she did...

In no more than 7 minutes, Tracy arrived to her objective. She opened the door and looked inside, only to find Seraphim throwing punches to the air. The redhead slowly approached to her teacher, walking on the tips of her toes. She was planning something eviil! Well, not that people. She just wanted to scare Seraphim. ' Easy.. Easy.. ' She thought, the adrenaline filling her body.
