Transitional Period (Open RP)

Carmen stood straight as he moved in to face her - maybe trying to intimidate? Maybe. She'd gone fact to face during plenty of weigh-ins - been so close to her opponents that they were about an inch away from straight up kissing. Almost lead to some exceedingly awkward moments.

She didn't blink. Just looked down on him with the death stare.

She caught him in the bearhug and gave her the squeeze - another move that might be good for her to put in her stash, now that she thought about it, again tapping on her upper body strength - upper body strength she was now using to try and power out of the hold, straining to overpower him and break free with sheer force.

Steven tried to hold her opponent as tightly as he could, trying to keep her in place as well. His teeth gritted as he continued to squeeez her hard and harder, his biceps bulging as he send impulses of jerks and squeezes harder after each struggle and attempt Carmen tried to break free.

" AHhhhhhhhhh, your quite stubborn!" he moans as he tries to lean into her body even more, his sweaty body grinding against hers now as he tries to push her backwards.His head resting against her shoulders as he looks to squeez her into submission,fists digging in deep in her backs skin. " What do you say Carmen? give up? HUH HUH" he says, pouring on the pressure in the bearhug, feeling her strong arms shaking hard as she tried to break free while he tries to keep her trapped in.

God damn, the kid had a good grip for being kind of a shrimp. She was giving him a lot of trouble, she could tell, but he was holding on like a soldier, she gave him credit. To top it off, he wasn't getting 'excited' like a lot of boys his age would be, getting this close to a girl. Good thing, too, she wasn't in the mood for one of those awkward moments.

She shook her head, gritted her teeth and...gave in, tapping at his side. No sense in getting her back broke over a little play fighting. "All right, all right, I give. Ease up."

Her struggles were getting more wilder and intense for a while, making it difficult for Steven to get a good tight grip on her body but he held on and as her struggles weakened just a bit he poured on the pressure once again, determined to show Carmen what he's got, trying to even up the score as Carmen escaped his last hold.

"Ngh - give up?" He moaned as she shook her head and grit her teeth. He was so focused in the hold that he didn't even realise that his body was stuck to his female opponents, rubbing off in certain areas. He let out a huge sigh when he felt her hands tapping his side "Give huh? Alright! " he said short of breath as he let her go and took a step back, body glistening in sweat now. "Phew! Your a tough nut to crack Carmen!" He smiled, while moving to the corner turnbuckle and wiping the sweat off his body with his towel and took another sip of water. " that's quite an impressive endurance you have, good stamina as well" he said while turning towards her, adjusting his boxers.

"Not so much endurance, really." She rolled to the side, rubbing her back - hurt pretty bad, but she was already starting to get some good feeling back in it. Grabbing the ropes for support once more, she pulled herself back up, hissing all the way. "Come from a long line of men and women too stupid to know when to give up. Comes in handy, sometimes."

She went over and grabbed her own water bottle, squeezing it hard and spraying it all right into her mouth, the refreshing chill invigorating her all over with an icy burst. "Okay, okay." She shook her head like a dog, shaking the sweat out. "How would you suggest to get out of that one? Pointers?"

The two wrestlers backed up to their respective corners of their ring where they had their own stuff put up right next to the corner turnbuckle, taking a few moments to catch their breath and have a drink of water. "Heh, I guess so. I was never too stubborn, if I felt a certain amount of pain threshold thay I couldn't bear I usually end up tapping after a few moments" he talked on taking another sip of water.

" Ah well, pointers hmmm....well if your put in an open arm bearhug you can easily your arms to fight back duh! The problem is the closed arm bearhug, the one I put you in. You can use your head to headbutt your opponent if his/her head is facing you, again a problem arises if the opponent has his head resting on your shoulder then you can't have an angle to headbutt. So, one can use their strength to push back and slam their opponents back into the corner to weaken them, if they are not hauled up in the air BUT if the opponent has you tapped in a bearhug and raised up in the air, what one can do is use their legs to wrap them around the offenders waist and trap them in a body scissor. Then it's all about the bearhug vs body scissors and ones own endurance and resilience" he explained before laughing a bit and scratching his head "Eh-hehehe ofc, I'm not an expert trainer so all these points are just my past experience in some of my matches haha! .

"That'd be common sense, yeah. Taking shots in the head kind of dulls that, though - you learn to push through, feed into the red haze, save the pain for later." She shot the empty water bottle into a trash can, off to the side. Three points, from the free throw line. "Of course, the best way is to just take as few hits as possible."

She listened to him go on, trying to picture it in her head - he was a little sheepish, but it sounded like sage advice. She'd commit it to memory, at the very least. "So...what would you do if your opponent has you hoisted up, arms trapped, and his head on your shoulder? How do you get out of that? Besides just powering out."

"Mmmm like I said, since you're hoisted up, you now have more leg movement since your legs are hovering up. Leaving much room for you to focus on leg movement and attacks. You could either wrap your legs around your opponent trapping him in a body scissor or just kick out your legs onto his thighs or shin, wiggling and squirming helps alot to make your opponent work much harder and that could leave him to get more tired in a while. Maybe if there's no ref you could use your knee to raise it up on someone's crotch hahahaha, kidding " title="Razz" />" he said, trying to share a laugh.

"My bad." She shook her head. "I meant if he's got you facing away from him. Reverse bearhug, arms trapped, hoisted up. Can't really knee him or anything from there. Maybe a kick in the shin, but that probably won't do much, and it's hard to hit what you can't see."

She leaned back on the turnbuckle, looking him over - she hadn't heard of this kid before just now, but then, she hadn't heard of many of the AFW's roster. It was pretty damn big. "What's your record?"

" Ah! I guess that is a bit of a problematic situation huh? Maybe a reverse headbutt? Or just try to lean your back back to push your weight back to make him loose balance? I'd try that I'm not sure if it would work or not...."

He sat down on his butt with his knee raised as he leaned forward to toe his unlaced boots as he went on " Oh, it's 2-2. I lost against Purin and Daisuke kamiya and won against Aki hibino and won in the rematch against dai, you got a bad break right? Being 2-0? Don't worry I'm sure you'll bounce back in no time"
