[quote="FlameofHope":2eq22tij]I think what he thinks of as an elite society are the people that post a lot, use proper grammar, and only post with each other.
Lemme just step in for one second here.People should be striving to use proper grammar and punctuation ANYWAY, regardless of whether there's some kind of elite society or not.
I harp on this all the time. Maybe some day you guys will listen to me. ;P

Re: Just a thought, please dont kill me....
So....your complaint is that there aren't enough storylines and such going on because of our small active member base spreading characters across two leagues.
Your solution is to kill one league completely, thus negating its work, and by extension, lessening the number of stories available on the board, negating/canceling several storylines that already happened with long term effects, and risking driving away several members of our already small active member base, because they feel insulted that the thing they liked was taken away from them and they were basically told "No, you can't do this anymore, your not important."
If you honestly feel this idea would help benefit AFW, please step up to the podium and explain how you feel it would, because so far, all it would do is screw up a lot of stories people have worked on and probably hurt a lot of peoples feelings.
Also:
Mixed wrestling on AFW isn't exactly some new concept. It's been around 9 years now, just a little bit younger than Friction. It wouldn't have lasted this long if it was a problem. Also, what do you think the "original intentions" were? Because I don't think you were around at that time.

You know when you set out to do something and by the end of it you end up doing something totally different from what you originally intended to do? Well i sorta feel as if we are doing that here...

No podiums, please.
But on the subject, one of my main complaints about the rp setting here is that it's so homogenous. Like, a friction girl might go her whole life without seeing a man. Imagine, all you guys, if you went to an all boys school and never saw a girl, how crazy would you go? Men balance out women, they provide relationships unlike what women can, etc.
And there are good opportunities to use the existence of Tension as rp material. What's the nerd word for that? World building? Anyway, my characters know people from both leagues. Taylor met, dated, and married one over the course of a few years, with "one" being a Tension guy. There's good stuff. Making the setting too narrow lessens your rp opportunity.

This^ Win.
Tai's been friends with several Friction girls, and was/is in a relationship with Frictions Chigusa Yuuki, and interacted/wrestled several of Frictions girls. Friction and Tension may be different brands, but their both under the AFW banner. Tai being a Tension guy and Taylor being a Friction girl doesn't make them different species or from different worlds or anything like that.
It makes them co-workers, because they work for the same company.
If anything, outside the ring interaction between the two groups should be encouraged, for its potential in storylines and such. Instead, a lot of the girls in friction seem to shun the idea of even acknowledging that males exist.

That's because AFW is a fetish site before anything else, and bringing in males messes with people's lesbian fantasies. It'd be nice if we were more storyline focused (And that's here if you want it), but to most people we'll always be mainly a fetish site, and they don't want their illusions messed with.If anything, outside the ring interaction between the two groups should be encouraged, for its potential in storylines and such.
