He goes to where he seen the spoons and accidently grabs wooden spoon then realizes his mistake then puts it back to get the serving spoon for the soup then uses it to fill everyone's bowl.

Genevieve would sit down as her daughter helped Xerxan to give out the hot bowls of soup. Once they were seated, Genevieve would say, "Thank you, Xerxan. Would you like to pray with us to bless the food?"

He says " I don't know any prayers" as he looks down feeling bad he didn't know too much about this stuff.

"Just follow along, Xerxan," said Arasinya with a smile. The family would close their eyes and bowed their heads to pray for their Lord to bless the food and thanking Him for bringing Xerxan here. Then they would pray for safety from the storm and to bless the food.

He would follow along hoping his part of the prayer would be accepted because it was his first time saying the prayer to the one they worshiped.

Once they said amen, Arasinya opened her eyes and smiled to Xerxan. "Okay, Xerxan, we can eat now." She would take a small spoonful of soup and blew on it first to make it cooler. Then she slowly sipped before licking her lips in delight. "Mmm, we did an excellent job!"

He opens his eyes and starts to get a little soup in his spoon as he blows lightly over it to taste it.

Arasinya watches Xerxan and asks, "Well? What do you think?" The soup could be different in Xerxan's taste if possible.

He says "the soup is good "as he slowly works on finishing his soup planning once the storm is over to get the wild veggies and fish to make a wonderful campfire meal for them.
