Asami Asagiri vs Sarah Anderson

Asami Asagiri appeared at the ramp to the ring, her theme song playing over the speaker system of the arena as fog filled the entrance area. The lights went out, for a moment, with the exception of a single spot light that searched around the arena until it 'found' Asami, standing on top of one of the turnbuckles. As the lights came back on, her music faded as she took a microphone.

"So, to celebrate our moving to a new Arena, a match was supposed to take place." she began. "There's some confusion over who was to appear, what kind of match, and all that other kind of nonsense. Let me help make life easier, AFW staff. I, the kunoichi of the AFW, will take on the first comer in either a standard or hentai match, challenger's choice! Just send me a referee!"

A second later, however, the lights dimmed, and "Song 2" by Blur began to blare over the speakers. A second later, a tall blonde woman wearing a skull-embroidered skirt and tank top strode into the arena. She fixed Asami with a confident glare as she grabbed a microphone.

"Asami Asagiri," she said in a noticeably Australian accent. "I heard about you. You're supposed to be pretty good.Truth to be told, I've never had the honour of fighting a member of the ninjitsu clans before."

She took another step forward. "Maybe you've heard of me. I'm Sarah Anderson."

A murmur rippled through the crowd. Sarah Anderson? The former world jiu-jitsu champion and renowned freelance fighter? It couldn't be the same woman, could it?"

"If you want a match, Asagiri-san," Anderson continued, "then I'll be happy to give you one. You and me, in a standard match. What do you say? Are you woman enough to take me on, ninja girl?"

Asami hopped off the top turnbuckle, landing lightly on the mat.
"Hmph. I was starting to wonder if someone had the ovaries to walk out here and accept my challenge. But to drop your name as something I should have heard of...I hope your skills back up your impudence. Because I accept."
Truth be told, Asami had heard of Sarah's reputation and skill seeing as she kept up with the martial arts world, but the ninja wasn't going to give Sarah the satisfaction. She lightly bounced on the balls of her feet for a moment before settling into her stance, waiting for Sarah to enter the ring.

(OOC: How could she circle Sarah? She hasn't entered the ring yet)

Slowly, Sarah crawled under the ropes and into the ring. The Australian woman gave a confident grin as she eyed Asami and settled into a fighting stance, waiting for the bell.

Asami waited for the bell, looking Sarah in the eyes as she settled into her own stance. When the match started, she gave a yell and ran forward, feinting a kick for Sarah's chest.
*She'll catch the leg...go for a grapple. When she does, I'll catch her with an enzuguri kick!* the ninja thought as she readied herself. Indeed, if Sarah fell for Asami's ploy, the kunoichi would leap up and swing her other foot at the side of Sarah's head.

Sarah smiled, her years of martial arts experience letting her see through Asagiri's feint. Did the ninja girl really expect her to fall for that?

Block the ninja's kick on her forearm, Sarah ducked low and spun sideways, aiming a kick at Asagiri's exposed back.

Asami grunted as she took the kick in the back.
*Not bad...* she thought to herself as she staggered for a moment.
Catching herself, Asami will whirl, and go low aiming a kick at Sarah's leg.

Sarah reacted quickly, leaping over Asami's leg sweep and landing on her hand as she executed a spinning top kick at Asami, rotating on her hand as she spread her legs and spun them, giving the crowd a brief pantyshot in the process....

Recovering from her sweep, Asami saw Sarah's counter. Deciding to play a little, she leaped over the spinning blond, turning her body upside down as she flipped over her foe. As the ninja flew she reached down, fingers grazing lightly over Sarah's covered sex as she went over the Australian.
Landing, she rolled lithely to her feet and smiled at Sarah.
"That...'strike' could've been much worse, blondie." she said as she settled into her stance again as the crowd, getting more than just the usual wrestling match, cheered on.

Sarah flipped back to her own feet as well, staggering a little as she landed. Judging by the look of slight discomfort on her face, that hit to her crotch had stung a little.

The Australian smirked and got back into a fighting stance of her own. "And was that your idea of a counter, kid?" she sneered back. "This will be easier than I thought."

Asami raised an eyebrow.
"I give you a lover's caress and then you call me a kid? Guess that's what I get for being....social." the ninja replied.
She ran forward, this time throwing herself into a slide, her legs looking to snag Sarah's and send her toppling to the canvas.
