Anyone who doesn't pick PokÃ

mon is going have a boring life. In PokÃ

mon, you aren't selected to be a PokÃ

mon Trainer, you can be one whenever you want.
In DBZ, if you aren't a Saiyan, there's no point in your existence.
In Death Note, if you aren't the one with the Death Note, there's no point in your existence.
In Digimon, if you aren't the digidestined, there's no point in your existence.
Etc. Etc.

Pokemon is the best option hands down.

Just imagine it!

Imagine no war
No hunger
Free medical services (at least for pokemon)
No religion
No hatred
Just pokemon... roaming free!

Until you catch them... and then you can have super fun battles where nobody (save your pride) gets hurt.

The only serious threat to your existence is... what? Team Rocket trying to steal your pokemon... with zubats? Seriously?

If I lived in the pokemon world I wouldn't have to go to school or work. I would be a pokemon trainer... maybe even a Gym Leader... and I would be so happy!!! ^_^

There are wars in Pokemon though. Lt. Surge's Pokemon fought alongside him in the war!

No religion? There's a cathedral in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, implying there's at least some kind of religion.

And I would say, y'know, the GROUDON VERSUS KYORGE INCIDENT IN GENERATION III WAS A SERIOUS THREAT TO PEOPLE'S EXISTANCE.

Now that you mention it I remember that Lt. Surge mentions this... then again since there is absolutely no military, no guns, no nuthing it pokemon to confirm his war I am going to say he is just a crazy old man.
