I ended up watching the women's boxing at the Olympics today with some friends, while playing a longer game of Heroclix.

It wasn't bad. I actually liked it, surprisingly.

I'M STILL NOT DOING ANY BOXING MATCHES THOUGH SO NYAH NYAH!

Knockout's are not permitted in these Olympic matches, which is kinda ya know -_- lost the touch for me.

Boxing RPs suck. They are boring. Its just punching. sometimes with kicking thrown in. It's not fun, its not sexy, Even a match that sounds good on paper with it doesn't end up living to expectations.

We should get rid of it.

While at it, we should get rid of the stupid ass Touhou board as well. It's barely seen any use and is literally the exact same thing as the Kawaii division, only this time "WITH MAGIK POWAS!"

....LLLLLAAAAMMMMEEEEE.

I'd rather AFW have a Pokemon Battle subforum then Touhou or boxing.

The only way you could make knockouts illegal is to make punching illegal. Who told you knockouts were illegal?

It's the Olympics, so people tend to fight even safer than they do in professional boxing, which makes for pretty darn boring fights, I think.

If boxing didn't have punching, it would be pro wrestling....only far less fun.

No, Olympic rules as far as I can tell are still the same. The judging changes, but you win by points with a judge's decision, or by KO or TKO. At least that's what I got from the olympic website.
