Kuri Nyotei vs Satoru Kido

Kuri was a little overzealous after winning round one, and she hadnt known he still had a few tricks up his sleeve. He shifted to the right and she mimicked him, hoping to still get him with the spear. But he quickly shifted to the left and Kuri slammed into the turnbuckle unable to stop. "Oww..." She whined, that had hurt, she slumped a bit as she rested.

Kido stared without expression as the Empress crashed against the turnbuckle. He didn't expected the move to worked that well. Still, he's not really in a condition to fight. Recklessly charging at her might ended up getting him in another bearhug or scissor. The boy stood silently, trying to adjust his breath for a while.

"He who holds the land... can conquer heaven," he'd suddenly blurted, confusing literally everyone else. "Read that... in a manga."

Kuri got up after a second, only to be confused by his statement, "Huh? She said before turning to face him. Once she gave up trying to understand his statement, she decided to go forward, and attack with a harsh combo: a straight left to the face, a right hook to the temple, and a resounding uppercut to the chin!

Despite all the beatings he already taken so far, it didn't seem like the boy was ready to give up the match. All he need at the moment is just a couple of minutes to rest. Of course, the Empress wouldn't gave her toy that as she immediately went after him and threw a straight to his face.

Drained as he was, Kido still managed to swat her punch with enough composure before he stagger backwards a little. Then came a hook aimed to his temple and he swatted that too, somehow. However, like the old saying: third time is the charm, the boy didn't have that much in him to block the third hit. Kuri's fist grasped his chin and he fell backwards on a sitting position near the ropes.

Kuri was loving Kido'd perserverance and endurance, but he was getting tired slowly. Kuri's straight and hook were swatted away by Kido, but her uppercut hit home, finding a place right under his chin. The boy fell back in a siiting position and Kuri pressed on, aiming a kick at his head before trying to lean down and grab him in preparations for a suplex!

Right before the kick reached his head, Kido lowered his body to the side, almost in a lying position, and swept his leg at her standing foot, hoping that she'd tumbled into the ropes. If this worked, he would slowly rolled away from the Empress to get some distance and continued his speech earlier.

"It means... control the terrain..."

Kuri saw him duck the kick and she got annoyed, he was a slippery one. He swept her planted leg causing her to fall and tumble into the ropes, while he went to the side and continued his little speech. She would try to get up, with little flares of anger growing in her eyes. She would charge at him with a right kick to the chest followed by a left hook to the head! "Terrain wont help you here!" she would yell.

Kido thought that the Empress was fiercer compared to their last meeting. Well, that was a spar, he'd reminded himself in his mid. The boy took Kuri's kick with his arms crossed in front of him and flew a couple of feet away, falling on his back.

"Uughh," he gasped with a grimace on his face. "Well... maybe not..."

Kido didn't get up for a while as he silently lying on the mat, panting rather heavily. It's seemed that he's almost at his limit. After a short while, he would slowly got up in a sitting position, raised his knees and put his arms on top of them. The boy stared at the mat blankly, still panting, before he finally gave the Empress a long gaze with a hint of resignation.

Kuri was indeed playing with all the chips down, because it was an official match, so no matter how much fun she wanted to have, she needed to win. Kuri had not been expecting her kick to knock him back, and so her left hook hit nothing but air. Kido actually fell from the kick, signalling to the Empress that he was almost ready for the end. Kuri charged at him, and tried to crouch down on the last step, so she could explode with a knee to his face! "Its almost bedtime little toy, how much more can we play before i out you away?" She would taunt as she charged.

In his weakened state, normally that kind of strike would hit him. And yet, Kido managed to raised his arms to protect his face, although the Empress' knee still hit him with full force. His rather thin figure was dragged away as the result, and he'd stay till there with his arms still on top of his face.

"Well... I think... I'm done..." he'd let out weakly. His arms eventually fell to the mat.
