@Harrier.

Absolutely, Kurt Russel has done some smashing films, the Thing for example, can't go wrong with that horror which is a looot better than the remake recently. But saying this, getting actors to replace classics, the remake's of Total Recall and Predator left me bitterly disappointed. :c lost the nostalgia.

But Mad Max and Judge Dredd are also on the horizon, who's to say Hollywood craves reboots at the moment?

You didn't like Predators? I thought that movie was quite good, especially the Yakuza Guy.

Danny Trejo died too soon <c only one person can be Machete, the action was brilliant, but aside from that the Predator's felt less scary in this one than the original, but maybe thats just me XD

Trejo was doomed in the moment he changed his guns to the smaller pistol^^
The black guy was rather lame but shared the role of Billy with the yakuza guy, the russian heavy weapon type was nice, the convict rather weird but with a nice twist, the chick the social anchor, the Yakuza guy was a small but very nice role, the doctor had me wondering if he was not really an innocent victim pulled in by the predators for some weird fun and the main guy was simply an ass.

Regarding the Predators, that could be, although they won every shootout duell against the humans and two of them were killed by sacrifices only. The Trejo Trap was quite mean, but the hounds were really pointless.

@Harrier.
Which was a pity if your a fan of ol Trejo XD but overall its about the intergalatic badasses themselves, as a whole comeback to the franchise, much better than Anderson's AVP in my opinion. I'm guessing the hounds were more or less there to fill the CGI budget hehe.

@Alexandra.
Niko was a cool reference to Blain from the original ^^ all around hard ass.

[quote="kerflubble":27gnnlsy]So, who's seen the latest Spiderman flick? Does it suck or is it good?

I am going to stick to my convictions and says they shouldn't have bothered witha reboot. If it is not broke why fix it. That movie was not as good as any of the 3 chapters. I think I would have been happier if they made a spider man 4 and simply recasted any actors or actresses that did not come back. Even Tobey Maguire.

John Carpenter is probably the best non porn B-movie regisseur ever(maybe aside from Vinie Mac who would have liked to have Kane show a 3 foot penis in one of these horrible WWE movies^^). Sadly he likes to work with the same type of guys all the time. His main actor is Kurt Russel who, although he was never much of a draw and rather average in most movies, is absolutely brilliant in *big trouble in little China* and *Escape von New York/L.A.(a wide array of very, very good and also famous actors in both of them)* . But Russel is easily 50+ years old and can't and won't play Snake Plissken(Inspiration for Metal Gear's Solid Snake and nothing but a legend with many many, references in other games and media) anymore, so the main reason for the delay of the next installment of Snake Plissken is that they are very picky who can replace him.

Maybe Sam worthington could (i'm not sure if his surname is spelled that way though <img src=" title="Razz" />)

and Lockout is good ^w^ reminds of my favorite movie of all time ,Die Hard!! XD

Guy Pearce pretty much played his role well in the movie ,the bad ass thing worked but it still couldn't matched Bruce Willis' acting skills though <img src=" title="Razz" />

Yippie-ki-yay ,Bruce Willis (it has been a long time that i wanted to say the line o.o)

Hmmm... mine would have to be either Prometheus or the Avengers.... I want to see batman but, as much hype there is about that movie... I wanna see the new spiderman more (even though it might suck) <img src=" title="Razz" />

@Vivian
That would indeed be a good guy for Snake Plissken.
Jeremy Renner(Avenger's Hawkeye) is also in the consideration as it seems, but I ain't sure if he would be so good.
I can see the role also for Hugh Jackman or Christian Bale(kind of), or a total unknown actor who has the evil eye of Snake <img src=" title="Wink" />
