It's been a very taxing week.
Hello, all. Sorry I haven't gotten to anyone's posts in a bit. I actually have a reason other than boredom this time, however. As some of you may know, I had my graduation July 2nd. The moment the ceremony was over, I had to pack my things up, and move back to Columbus with my parents, who apparently had just been through a massive storm, because when I got there, the power was out. Apparently thousands are still out with power even right now.
The power returned late July 3rd, but then I received notice that my great grandpa might very likely have lung cancer. So, in the morning, we drove over to see him, and some other members of my family, and I was kind of pulled down an alley of Memory Lane I had blocked off long ago. I love my family, don't get me wrong, but, with them comes talk of the past, talk of my dad, talk of how most of the women in his life screwed him over one way or another, recollection of my last moments with him, a heartfelt letter I wrote him before he passed away, which really tore me up.
I'm feeling better now, emotionally, but, now I'm having trouble trying to work up the motivation to RP. Even in IM. I'm... not sure how long this might last. I don't want to just fade into obscurity like I did last time, so, I'll still hang around in Discussions and so on, until I feel the urge to RP again. After all, I love you all " title="Smile" />

I'm sorry to hear that man, I really am.
Cancer is an awful, awful thing. I'm hoping the best for him, man. Hopefuly they found it early enough that they can do something about it.

Actually, he's refused treatment. He's 85, and the treatments are rather taxing, so, it would just end up making the rest of his life a living hell. The doctor also agrees with this.

I'm sorry dude. I really don't know what to say. As bad as my treatments were for me, I can only imagine how rough they'd be for someone that old, so it probably is for the best that he's refusing them.
I'm really not sure what to say at all, but if you need someone to talk to or to just listen, you can drop me a line, alright?
