Hard Velocity Vs. KamiKaze

"Oh, burn. I have been burned. The pain." Taylor responded sarcastically.

She watched Heather as she approached. She seemed much more straightforward, plodding directly at her... she would certainly have her work cut out for her if she thought she could catch Taylor like that. Taylor continued to circle rapidly to one side or the other, and when Heather charged she got low, and when she stepped to the side Taylor circled with her and leapt back out of range before the kick that followed was even in the air.

Not wanting to waste the opportunity, Taylor quickly hopped back in and countered, kicking her heel straight out at Heather's chest before she could reset from the kick.

"Gh.." Heather would let out as Taylor moved out of the way clearly before Heather was able to throw the kick and connect. She would curse herself in her mind, knowing she should have taken a different approach against someone who was similar to her style. However, she was going to find that it was going to cost her as Taylor would quickly follow up.

Heather would feel Taylor's heel collide with her chest, causing her to let out a grunt and stumble back a bit, shaking her head as she brought her hands up. She tried to think of some way she could get on her quick, but she figured trying her usual methods wouldn't work here. Instead, she decided to just keep her eyes open, watching Taylor's quick movements as she rubbed her chest a bit where the impact was.

"Come on, is that all?" Heather would say, trying to provoke her to make a move slightly as she kept her eyes on her.

"Yup! That's it." Taylor said proudly and stood up straight with her fists on her hips.

She knew the drill. Everyone that she fought for the first time did the same thing. Come straight at her, underestimate her speed, back off, try to make her come to them, try using more feints. It was like clockwork. Not everyone went through the whole routine right away like that, though, maybe Heather was a quick learner. Still, Taylor had had the stuffing clotheslined out of her enough to know not to charge at someone when they're ready for it, and counting on her doing it.

Instead, she skipped playfully in a circle around the outside of the ring, giving Cecelia a pat on the head as she passed by. She stopped and face Heather again. "Oh, was there anything you wanted to do? I don't want to make you look bad or anything." She laughed, and danced in place a bit a safe distance away from Heather, making no attempt at all to go after her.

Heather would let out a small laugh under her breath as she heard Taylor's words, watching at the girl stood up straight with her hands on her hips. There was just something about her that made Heather think this was all just a joke, that the hard feelings from the start were just little foolish, childish banters and Taylor was playing with them as much as she could.

Heather would shake her head, crossing her arms as she watched the little antics that Taylor was doing. She would catch a glance over at Akashi, almost wishing she was fighting her instead, just so there wouldn't be any of this foolishness, but she came here looking to teach Taylor a lesson and that was what she was still planning on doing to the girl.

"Alright..enough. As much as I'm sure everyone just loves watching you skip around all day, why don't you get your ass over here and we can start this right. No more games." Heather would say, slightly amused but slightly impatient at the same time as she would place her hands on her hips, waiting for Taylor to join her in the center.

"Hey now, don't be mad. Maybe you should just learn to play along instead of standing there like a dork."

Taylor bounced into the middle of the ring and stood just outside of Heather's reach. She set her feet and bent her knees and lifted one hand up to offer a clinch. She grinned at Heather, locking eyes with her with a bright, mischievous look that gave no indication about what she intended to do.

Heather was built a little bigger than Taylor, though they looked like they were the same height. Taylor was very compact, very slim, but freaking ripped too. There was a part of her who just wanted to see who was stronger, because it wasn't often that Taylor had an opponent her own size, although it certainly happened more often in Japan than in the States.

"C'mon, get your ass over here. We have to start this right."

At Taylor's response, Heather would just remain silent, a slight glare at the girl. She could tell Taylor was purposefully testing her patience and she knew she couldn't let herself get angry or fed up or it would certainly cost her greatly. With someone who's speed was similar to her's, there was no way that she would be able to even touch her if she let her anger or frustration get the better of her.

When Taylor lifted up her hand, offering a clinch, it certainly took Heather by surprise. She began to think of what she knew that she would do with things like this. She knew it was easy to take advantage of the situation and send a knee straight to the other's gut when there was nothing protecting that area. However, Heather as well wanted to see how their strengths measured up against eachother, her lips curling into a slight grin as she would hear Taylor's words, almost mocking what Heather had said just seconds earlier.

"..Alright." Heather would let out, making her way over to Taylor slowly as she rasied up her hand as well. She would try to join her in the clinch, taking it on and attempting to immediately begin pushing back at the girl towards the corner if the clinch actually happened.

Taylor grabbed hold of Heather's hands and shoved as hard as she could. It was the first time she'd ever willingly engaged in a test of strength with anyone in a match, she usually made a point to avoid them at all costs, but she had to know.

Her whole body strained, her feet set wide and her back foot sliding back a little. She was a little surprised that she held her own against Heather. She was unable to move her back at all, but she was able to keep Heather from pushing her back, and that fact gave her confidence. For once she wasn't totally outsized or out-muscled. Her ridiculous workout regimen was paying off.

Still, she had nothing more to prove, and she didn't want to waste any energy standing there grappling with the girl. She suddenly skipped back a step and yanked on Heather's hands to try to pull her forward and off balance, and then hopped one step to Heather's side.

As they locked in the test of strength, Heather would soon find that the two were on nearly equal footing. Just as it was for Taylor, it was a rare occasion that Heather could have an even little strength battle with her opponent. It was almost always her getting pushed back. While Taylor's foot slid back a little, it seemed neither of them were going to get any leeway or advantage through this as they were both straining themselves.

Suddenly though, as Taylor skipped back, pulling on Heather's hands, Heather would feel herself tripping forward, sent unbalanced as the girl would hop to her side. She knew as her body stumbled forward that if she just tried to regain her balance, Taylor would have a clear opening to hit her with something. Taking the better way out, Heather would fall with the pull, bringing herself to the ground and rolling forward, pulling herself to one knee immediately after and turning to face Taylor.

"Smooth..That was good." Heather would say, giving the girl a small compliment as she quickly went to get herself to her feet.

Taylor left Heather no room to breathe. As the girl quipped at her and began to get up, Taylor was on her. A couple fast running steps to keep up and Taylor launched herself into the air, throwing her right knee out to smash into Heather's chest.

It felt good, Heather's little compliment. It'd feel even better to interrupt her by crushing her ribs.

As Heather rolled from the trip, getting herself to regain her bearings. She would try to take her time to pace herself as much as she could. She gave Taylor the small compliment to show that she did indeed respect her speedy style, in Heather's opinion being the best kind of style to wrestle with. However, Taylor didn't seem to take much notice as she would simply just charge at Heather again.

Heather would have no time to react as suddenly Taylor's knee would collide with her chest, pushing a great deal of force at her lungs, causing her to let out a little bit of a cough as she would be knocked onto her back on the mat.

She would take a few breaths, her chest rising and falling with each one as she would slowly try to pull herself back up, being seemingly open for a followup attack from the girl.
