Max was getting ready to slap his hand down for the two count when he felt Makie's shoulder shoot up and into his chest. He wasn't surprised given how much of a fight Makie had provided for him so far, controlling most of this match.

He would respectfully roll off of Makie before kneeling not too far from her head. He wanted to capitalize on what he saw as a daze for his opponent, but he knew he was obligated to return the gesture from earlier. The silver-haired man would make his way to his feet, while reaching for her right hand with both of his own, aiming to help Makie to her feet.

However, he would not so quickly let go of her hand once she was to her feet, aiming to whip her to a corner once she seemed to be comfortably on her feet.

"Uuungh...." Makie moaned, as her vision continued to swim and distort. Slowly, though, things began to clear up as the dizziness subsided...at which point she realized her hand was being held.

She opened her eyes. "Wha...?" Max was helping her up to her feet, gently pulling her up by the hand. She blinked rheumily, barely comprehending at first, but quickly concluded that, yes, Max was indeed helping her up to her feet instead of attacking her.

Well this is a spar, not a full match, she thought to herself as she was finally standing upright. Maybe he's not such a psychotic freak after all--

A second later, however, Max swung her by the wrist, whipping her towards the ropes. Wide-eyed, Makie couldn't stop herself, and found herself bouncing off the ropes and running back at her silver-haired opponent.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit....

Max smiled a bit before he had gone for the whip to the ropes, mostly because he noticed that Makie was a bit dumbfounded by his kind action. As he flung her to the ropes, he was preparing to greet her with a big hug. A bear hug.

His arms were aimed to wrap around Makie's mid-section, but not as tight as he would normally apply the hold. His goal wasn't to break her back, only to apply pressure.

As Makie came bouncing back towards Max, she reacted too late. Seeing him standing there, instead of rushing towards her, made a part of her brain relax, instantly thinking that he wasn't about to apply a clothesline. Her head was still ringing from hitting the mat, and it only occurred to her when it was far too late that Max didn't even need to clothesline her.

The next thing Makie knew, Max's arms were wrapping around her upper body, midsection. Gasping in surprise, she was suddenly lifted up off her feet in a bear hug. "F..fuck..." she gasped, feeling her lower body pressing tightly against Max's abs as he applied pressure against her, squeezing her close to him. All she could do was kick her legs uselessly as she squirmed and twisted in Max's grip, trying in vain to pull herself free. Her struggles, however, might unintentionally cause Makie's breasts to press closer to Max's face.

Max felt the bear hug lock-in in an instinctive feel. However, there were a few twists in his plan as it stood. Makie was squirming in his hold, feeling a few kicks of the feet hitting his legs, some a bit close for comfort. "Watch where you're..." Max would start to say loudly, but trailing off as the second twist stared him in the face, literally.

Makie's breasts were now directly in front of him, causing a blush to come across his face. Oh no...this...this breaks the rules...right? Max was a bit unsure as he felt them occasionally hit his face. He needed to solve this situation, provoking him to end the bearhug early by blindly walking towards a corner, aiming to hit Makie into the turnbuckle and release her, stepping back a bit.

As she squirmed in Max's grip, Makie was startled as her back was suddenly slammed hard against the turnbuckle. She cried out, her struggles ceasing as pain shot up her spine. Screwing her eyes shut, her head fell against Max's shoulder as she she lay, hurting and dazed, in his grip.

Max would unwrap his arms from around Makie as he felt her head rest against his shoulder. He would rest Makie against the turnbuckle while using his left hand to support her head. He would look at her for a good few seconds. She had quite the pretty face and was quite a tough fighter to boot.

His inner impulse wanted him to truly take advantage of the situation, but the other part of him told it no. His eyes had glanced out of the ring to wear he knew the hammer lay, but that wasn't what provoked his other side to tell him no. "Makie? Are you all right?" he found himself asking with a sincere tone. He knew the slam would hurt, but he was genuinely worried that he had gone too far with this turnbuckle slam.

Although her eyes were screwed shut, Makie was still quite conscious as she lay in Max's grip. She took a deep breath, trying to fight off the throbbing pain in her back after Max had rammed her into the corner post. It hurt like hell, but she'd taken worse bumps in her first match with Midori.

"Makie, are you all right?" she heard Max ask as he leant her against the turnbuckle. The fact that he was trying to be nice, however, was completely lost on Makie-- she'd trained hard to take bumps in the ring like this, and the fact that Max was now going easy on her pissed her off immensely.

"Shut up and keep fighting, idiot!" she spat, gripping the ropes and rotating her lower body forwards, aiming to drive her knees into Max's midsection. Given that she was still stunned by the earlier hit, the blow might not have had as much power as she wanted.

Max was simply worried that he had taken his moves too far for Makie, but he soon found his concern would reward him with a set of knees in his side. It wasn't that they were painful; Max just wasn't expecting Makie to retaliate as he leaned into the nearby ropes, only to bounce back while holding onto them to regain his balance.

"Sorry for making sure you were okay!" Max would shout back as he grabbed the other rope, on the second rung while preparing to ram his shoulder into her abdomen, if it was still there when he drove it there. Of course that was all assuming that he could pull this off before Makie could capitalize on his being on the ropes.

As it would turn out, however, Makie didn't intend on staying still either. Now free from Max's grip, she stumbled back, catching herself on the rope as she caught her breath. That bear hug had taken a lot out of her, and her face was flustered and red as she was only now catching her breath.

Seeing Max stumbling into the ropes opposite her, Makie pushed herself to retake the inititiative, rushing forward in the hopes of taking Max by surprise with a knee to the gut.
