Haruka vs Toshio, Fall of an Amazon

She seemed pretty beat up and she might not be able to kick out.

Toshio waited tensely as the ref began the countdown.

"1...2..."

She would not move.

"....3!"

The bell rang loudly, signalling Toshio's victory. Gingerly, he knelt upright, raising his arms in victory as his opponent lay prone on the mat. Grabbing onto the ref for support, Toshio staggered up to his feet, noting the mixture of cheers and boos in the crowd. He did his best to ignore it-- he'd won this fight fair and square, and Haruka couldn't deny that.

He grimaced a little, however, at the thought. Kyo might wind up having a few unpleasant words about him over this later...

Haruka groaned and rolled over grabbing her leg.

As Toshio lowered his arms, Toshio looked down at Haruka. For a moment, it seemed like he might help her up, or extend a hand to her. Instead, he stared at her for a few seconds, before sighing.

"Good match," he muttered. "Sorry 'bout your leg." And with that, he turned and rolled out of the ring, heading out towards the exit. For the first time in his career, Toshio felt both thrilled and bad about a victory, and he wasn't quite sure which he felt more strongly
