The Parking Lot (Open) Empty The Parking Lot (Open)

Getting a room in the dorm hadn't been much of a problem. Why, exactly, the company had decided to set up shop in an abandoned school complete with dorms in which to provide the setting of their male vs. female wrestlers, on the other hand... well, it had taken a few trips for him to take the stuff from his beat up car and into the room he'd been allocated. One of the things he'd been sure to bring with him was a mini fridge that could be locked, and plenty of his own ingredients for cooking things that he'd enjoy.

One of which appeared to include a small portable barbecue powered by propane, which he set up just beyond his vehicle's back hatch. The car was pretty much just transportation, and any of the richer and more capable/high priced wrestlers would probably realize that he was rather low on the totem pole, just from the sight of such a car. A pair of coolers were inside the back of the car, the hatch held up high by the normal supports provided unto a car (he had managed to get it fixed the other week- a broom pole remained in the back of the car that showed that it once had been the object that kept the hatch propped up.

After he heated up the barbecue, the sound of old rock 'n roll erupting actually rather weakly from pair of speakers connected to his iPod touch (probably worth more than the car itself, honestly), Arik reached into the cooler and pulled out a bottle of water and something that pretty much anyone would enjoy partaking of. A package, and within... meat. Actual steak, that is, pre-seasoned and one of his favorite little meals to have. Arik knew better than to try and cook it near the dorms, so he decided to have his little picnic in the parking lot. It seemed deserted enough.

Eventually, two pieces of the new york strip steak was set onto the grill of the barbecue, and the lid above. Sitting back down within the back of his car, he grinned and just listened to the stereo as he glanced to the blue skies overhead. The heat hadn't arrived... yet. But it would within a day or so. There was no doubt about that. The new guy was just worried about how his finances would be if he didn't actually start having matches sometime soon.

The Parking Lot (Open) Empty Re: The Parking Lot (Open)

He’️d been running. He’️d loved running, ever since he was in the military. It kept him fit, it kept him healthy, he felt good whilst he ran. He could forget about the stresses of his day, as if anything bothering him was channeled from his body, through his running shoes and into the earth. Sometimes, though, it made him miss the Army.

He could forget anything whilst he ran. Anything, of course, except hunger. And he WAS hungry, as he continued his run, nearing the end. He was around 6 feet tall, pretty well built, with bright red hair. He was wearing his old PT gear, a light gray tee shirt emblazoned with the word “ARMY” across the chest, and comfortable black shorts. An iPod was plugged into his ear, blasting away music. A Green Day track had just started.

As his stomach grumbled a bit, and he looked down and checked his watch, he decided that he’️d come in now, maybe find something to eat. That was, until, he began his approach to the entrance, via the parking lot, and smelled some delicious BBQ. He sniffed a bit, steak. He LOVED BBQ. He LOVED steak, so he changed directions, approaching the car and Arik.

As he got closer, he turned off the iPod, which was clipped to his shorts, and heard Arik’️s music, as low as it was from the speakers. Now, standing about one meter away from Arik, he spoke, quirking his head a bit.

“There’️s a tailgate party and no one invited me?” He said, chuckling.

Your writings and head are disordered and mixed up, so that it is exceedingly annoying to read and difficult to remember what you write.
