Okay, so I don't actually watch wrestling, but apparently all the internet cool kids are raving about this promo from RAW?

NEWS FLASH: the Archergurl who you speaking of is not part of AFW anymore and she's currently working in production for new game titles in Japan. I'm her Canadian friend who she gave her PC due to mines has crashed. She was nice enough to give it to me to help a friend in need. So she got a spared one that she uses for the things I've mention above. BTW, Anegge and Alexandra be sure to check the E-mail adresses carefully. As Archergurl and me aren't the same thing.

Basically Egge, its famous now because it IS the shootiest worked promo weve ever seen in WWE.
WWE is very careful about what its performers say.
So for Punk to lash out against the company, and especially insult Vince, Vinces Daughter, and to insult TRIPLE H, who is Vinces son in law and the guy with the most pull backstage, was huge.
He also mentioned New Japan and Ring of Honor, which was huge because WWE NEVER references other companies, they like to pretend they are the only one in existence.
Plus, considering that Punk has had issues with WWE management over the years, most of this was probally from the heart.
In short, it was planned, yes, but it simply amazing that Punk was allowed to say all that about the company at all, Even Stone Cold Steve Austin wasnt allowed to go on that kind of a rant.
Also, Punk used the word Wrestler.....a word that is no longer in the WWE vocabulary.
Punk was by far the best person to do this kind of promo. and it was AWESOME.

I think he didn't mention TNA because Punk himself doesn't really like TNA. In fact he said he'd never go back there (Wrestled there for a pretty short time.)
But yeah, read that the people backstage pretty much gave him the mic and told him to say whatever he wanted about why he wanted to take the title, aand he went far with it. Word is that the people who let him go were discussing that they would pull the plug on the segment and cut him off if he want too far, aaand he sure as hell did.
Crazy stuff, Punk is genious.
