Sorry but I want to stick as much as possible to wrestling combat, I feel that if I define powers to that level of details I'm going to see Dragon Ball Z style fights before long

Rather then spend a long time defining the categories of how much power characters have, why not just define how much powers are restricted in a match by a device around the arena?

Fully restricted: all characters become like humans, wings are rendered flightless... shape shift characters can not shape shift... etc...

partially restricted: Usually should allow weaker abilities like shape shifting, vampires getting their fangs, demons/angels being able to use their wings but not too much for flight

Completely unrestricted: all abilities allowed

I think blunt weapons will be allowed in the ring if its a hardcore match (like oni's clubs or something). I'll have to think a little more about sharp weapons like swords, I'd probably prefer to disallow them unless there is a lot of people who want them around... And even then they would have to be in the outside area in matches which expressly allows them.

But again, the forums suppose to be for wrestling combat so things like swords should be kept to a minimum

So far I was expecting the following:

Forums:
Ring - For ring matches that can have restricted powers
The wider world (with a better name) - For a match in locations that are only limited by imagination (in forest, on beach, in clouds where ever). Also can allow no restrictions on powers
Dojo/gym/backstage - for spars and RPs
PPV (not sure if this subforum would be neccessary)

Current belts:
All singing all dancing, intergender, interspecies non powered belt
All singing all dancing, intergender, interspecies with powers allowed
tag belt (probably with power restrictions keep characters on level basis)
fem only belt? (not sure whether to have this, but might be some members that want to compete for belts but only face female characters)

Type of characters:
Humans
Furries - Any humaniod with animal features
Mythical creatures - Elves, vampires, angels, succubuses etc
Mutants - slime creatures, shape shifters etc
Super beings (This is any of the above that can weild magic or has super strength, speed, invulnerability etc.. )

Still thinking through a lot of things in my mind

Can we have like puzzle arenas?

Like these:

Z-Bert Ring: As you move the stage is a giant space of cubes that change to the color of your characters choice. When cubes turn red they explode and take out other cubes. The object is to change it all to your color or trap your opponent in a space they can't escape from.

Bouncy Board: A board that balances on a ball which bounces in perpetual motion. The board swivels and bobs at random times, and sometimes splits into multiples temporarily and stuff like that.

What do you think? I've got other ideas.
