Maya VS. Momoko (archived)

Maya got up blushing as she looked at her opponent resisting the urge to hold her throbbing knee that her opponent had fell on. "Its ok I didn't mean to over react myself its just..." She shook her head remembering that she was still in a match that she wanted to win. She came in quickly at her opponent throwing one puch at her opponents head while her other fist went at her opponents side. Though both were distractions that if her opponent tried to block she would send her un injured leg into her stomach.

Momoko nodded in thanks. "Thank you. Let's continue, then."

She blocked Maya's punches. Maya's kick she expected from what she now understood so far of Maya's preferred attacks. Momoko grunted as she stopped the leg, then tugged on it while pushing at Maya with her other palm to try and plunk Maya on her back hard.

If she succeeds, she will try to straddle Maya's injured leg in between hers while pushing down on Maya.

Maya also was expecting Momokos attack so her kick was merley a snap kick so her leg recoiled back before her opponent could get a grip on it. She moved back grinning looking at her opponent "don't think i prefer to try powerful kicks all the time momoko-san i know how to keep them quick." Her injured leg was throbbing still but she ignored it while waiting for her opponents move.

Momoko grinned back. "You are indeed very impressive, Maya-san," she praised. "You're a worthy opponent. I thought to ask for your surrender since you are injured, but seeing your spirit made me realize that would be an insult to you. So I will beat you, or you will beat me, honorably."

She began circling Maya rather quickly, staying just out of range of a kick, taking care to be facing Maya's injured leg, her stance and position communicating her intent to attack Maya on her weak side.

Maya smiled as she kept up with her opponent as she circeled him knowing full well that her oppponent was focusing on her weak side. It made since seeing that of course movment on that eg would be quite hard. She then decided to do something she put her injuredleg towards her opponent "alright then momoko-san lets go."

Momoko didn't attack, though. Instead, as Maya presented her weaker side towards her, the sumo girl nimbly reversed the direction she was moving, going back the way she came, her style's focus on footwork coming into play, eyeing Maya.

Maya wasn't exactly as skillled in footwork as Momoko but she had a knack to following a persons movments. So she could tell when momoko was going to reverse her direction anle to move agian presenting her weak side. Then with a slight grin she began moving backwards to a corner wondeering what her opponent would do then.

Momoko kept circling. Maya backing herself into a corner would leave Momoko with only one avenue of attack: straight ahead.

Banzai.

Momoko let out a stupendous yell to startle Maya before charging at her opponent's weak side.

Maya only let out a deep groan as the girl charged straight at her shaking her head. She the let out a roar of her own charging at Momoko not even slowing up. Though as she got near her she would suddenly push up with her strong leg going into the air her knee aiming right her opponents chin.
