After the successful splash, Makoto stepped back before Erina could do the same but forward and fall. Later, Makoto grabs her wrists and drags her to the center of the ring for the pin, with the referee starting to count.

"ONE!"

Erina wouldn’t allow herself to be pinned that easily as she kicked out at one. However, she was still needing to recover as she would be on all fours, taking a breather. If she were lucky with Makoto letting her get up, she would reset with her and possibly go for another grapple.

After the kickout, Makoto gets up and looks down at Erina before picking her up. Once she does it, she gets surprised by the grapple reset, but doesn't hold back and struggles.

It was now Erina’s turn to show off her strengths in the match. As she let go of Makoto, pushing her away, Erina would deliver a very good uppercut to the chin of Makoto. If it were to connect, Erina would have Makoto stunned and then go for a dropkick.

Makoto gets pushed away and the struggle is broken by Erina, and later gets hit in the chin with that uppercut that sent her against a corner, with the Japanese girl holding her mouth and jaw. She looks up at her and the next thing she sees and feels is the dropkick aimed at her chest, causing the Shogun to groan and slide down against the bottom turnbuckle, a little exposed in a sitting position.

Erina looked at Makoto and saw her in position. She would run towards the opposite corner. Once she was ready, Erina then ran towards Makoto and went for a basement dropkick. If that landed, she would be getting fired up.

Makoto shakes her head after those attacks and was ready to get up, but an incoming second dropkick from Erina gave her another impact in the chest, causing the Shogun to fall and lay close to that corner.

Erina would see Makoto laying near the corner. She then got an idea to get a small pop or have them go “ooh” to what she was gonna do to Makoto.

Erina would grab both the legs of Makoto and scooted her near the corner to where Makoto’s head was laying beneath the bottom turnbuckle. She then looked both ways to the crowd before falling back and sending Makoto’s head into the bottom turnbuckle. That would cause the crowd to “ooh” by how painful that could’ve been.

Makoto gets taken of both legs by Erina and pulled long enough to throw her against the bottom turnbuckle, but Makoto reacts fast and prevents it by jumping on the bottom ropes, then she turns around and delivers a diving shoulder tackle from there.

Erina completely botched the move she was gonna do as she missed Makoto’s head on the bottom turnbuckle. That would lead to Erina taking a diving shoulder tackle from the Japanese star as she quickly tried to get back up.
