Li had a plan, Which was to let Berenice unleash everything she's got on him to lower stamina but needed to be subtle about it.

Most of her punches were defended carefully by letting his body bounce from the ropes and recoiled from the impact. Something called rope-a-dope he saw on the TV once.

The fun was beginning to disappear. Her opponent didn't retaliate, simply bounced back and forth against the ropes. She backed off with a huff of annoyance. Was this all there was to her opponent? She was given this push over to fight? She gave a look of annoyance at Li, sighing as she did.

"Is that really all you've got?" she said, boredom clear as day in her voice, "C'mon, FIGHT BACK"

Berenice's eyes flashed with realisation. Sneaky little shit she thought.

"Aahhh, I see. No little man, I'm not that easy to trick. You come to me or we wait till the round ends" she said, grinning, even lowering her guard completely and crossing her arms.

Both fighters refused to retaliate at each other and opted to wait it and see what happens. After a long period of time the referee had enough from their mental games and penalized both of Li and Berenice for not engaging in combat and ordering both to the middle of the ring and commence the match.

Li was almost on the verge of knocking him out the ring but that would be stupid as he went for the center and taking a defensive stance

Berenice smiled as the ref forced the continuation of the match, raising her guard once again as Li came to the centre and readied himself.

"You finally grown a pair little man? Or you wanna forfeit?" she said, staying weary of any attacks that were sent her way as she spoke with a mocking grin across her lips

Ignoring her mockery of words, Li took a side stance with his left arm swinging like a pendulum and his right hand protected his jaw. Trying to use some new tactics against her.

The back of the left fist started flinging towards her jaws like springs of rubber, The right hand was mostly shielding him unless he need it at times

Berenice kept her guard raised, taking the punches. Her previous trick wouldn't work again she figured, so she had another plan. Whether or not it would work, she did not know. She feinted darting left, seemingly trying to get around Li, after which she fired a strong right straight at his Ribs, and followed with a left hook to his liver.
