Eiko Bando vs Noriko Yamamoto: strength against sumo - Page 2 Empty Re: Eiko Bando vs Noriko Yamamoto: strength against sumo

Despite what many in the audience might have thought at the time, Eiko was far from an adrenaline seeking muscle head just looking for a random fight with an audience. Granted, she was not too far, but she was using a muscle that was just as strong as all of the others she had been using throughout the match. The was, of course, her mind. Each action she made had a reason to it, every strike was a test and an observation, something to feed her brain and tell her what to watch out for in this brutal fight of powerful offensive strikes and shockingly strong defense.  Both of these women were like thunderous fortresses waging war on one another, neither of them piercing the others steel walls, but merely scrapping up the metal that lined their lovely forms.

Eiko was sure Noriko had noticed this as well. She was a bright young girl, probably smarter then Eiko and far more experienced in this type of technique. This was less a fight about who could or could not steam roll the other, but closer to a race. Who would find out the others secret? What was the weakness hidden in Noriko’s near perfect stance that Eiko could exploit? What could Noriko do that was sure to put down this excitable vixen and keep her from popping right back up? As soon as one of the fighters learned the answer to the others secret, they would gain a huge advantage over the match, if not outright winning it. This seemed to be almost as much a battle of the minds as its was a battle of muscle power and endurance. The one to discover the others secret, won.

The excitement at such a prospect showed on Eiko’s face clear as day, her face turning red as a new born fire seemed to rise in the deepest windows of her eyes. Eiko rolled her shoulders in anticipation, wondering exactly what it was she could do to break through Noriko’s immaculate defense and land another blow.

It was only just then that Eiko realized that Noriko had complemented her on her palm strike, the purple attired woman blinking a few times in confusion.

“Oh, thank you very much. Truth is I was copying what you did earlier. I don’t think I got it right, because I only noticed your windup. Honestly, it was probably just a fluke~”

As if to prove her point, she playfully fired off two more palm strikes in the air, each one clearly lacking even a fraction of the power the first one had.  Eiko didn’t mind being a bit lax around Noriko. She seemed interesting and kind enough, hopefully she was not accidentally disrespecting the Sumo girl with her playful expressions. She was having fun, and that was all Eiko was after.

A new mystery presented itself when Noriko began to make a move. Her stance was slightly different then the ones before, she was slanted in a way that made it difficult to discern why she was moving in such a way. Was this another Sumo technique that Eiko was not aware of? Or simply a cautious way to approach a foe of equal strength. Either way, it caught the scantily clad woman’s attention, and piqued her curiosity.  Just as Eiko thought she was understanding Noriko, she shifted again, and began to circle Eiko.

It would be difficult to avoid facing her head on now. Eiko began to circle the fellow powerhouse, wondering what exactly she could do to stop someone who had the attack power and defense of a tank. She tried lifting her and she wouldn’t budge, smashing her and she wouldn’t break. So far, the only thing that showed promise was the palm strike. A blow for blow match then? It would certainly be interesting to see who could outlast the other, but it would take a long time before either of them faltered.

Would a submission work?

Eiko tilted her head at the thought. Noriko was powerful, and could probably break out of most attempts to lock in a limp…but if Eiko was successful, could it work? Did sumo have submission holds? The purple attired woman was not so familiar with the Sumo practice.

Was this the answer she was looking for? She would have to attempt it and find out. Though if she failed, she was sure to pay the price for it. For now, she would need to create an opening.

Deciding to end the circling, Eiko moved forward, looking to clasp onto Noriko’s powerful hands and push on her with all of her strength, digging her heels into the ring’s canvas as she mustered all the power her muscles could produce in moving this mountain of a woman back.

Noriko's silver gaze watched Eiko carefully, taking in her technique as she threw out several more palm thrust. Sloppy. Very sloppy. That didn't mean it hadn't been effective. She imaged any blow this woman put her force behind would be devastating no matter how crude it might be. Something to consider to be sure. As of yet they hadn't had too much to to test one another, which hadn't really been on her agenda until she caught wind that Eiko might be doing that on her now, trying to pick apart her style and strengths.

She couldn't afford to give too much up just yet and risk her most effective tools being compromised and exploited. Better to save them for the right openings to present themselves, especially with someone like Eiko who seemed to be devising her own plans on the fly. It had been the reason for her own shift in stances, something less grounded but more mobile. She couldn't stand her ground and just take punishment from this woman, doing so would have been a losing battle.

As Eiko charged, so too did Noriko, reaching out to meet her opponents hands. One palm slapped into the other woman's, fingers locking hard like the grip of a machine. The other however pulled away at the last second as she shifted her shoulder forward. With a hard jerk she pulled their linked hands towards herself, trying to send her shoulder and tucked in arm into Eiko's chest like a human battering ram with their combined momentum to add to the force behind her.

Eiko Bando vs Noriko Yamamoto: strength against sumo - Page 2 Empty Re: Eiko Bando vs Noriko Yamamoto: strength against sumo

This battle was very much like a fire. The two competitors were testing one another, building a flame of competitive spirit and understanding of one another. The flame grew as each woman tested the others defenses and offensive capability, both appearing to be evenly matched in terms of pure strength and endurance. The two were both immensely powerful, with Noriko having technique and experience on her side and Eiko simply possessing a peppy attitude and an abundance of energy.

The battle was beginning to heat up once again, with each fighter scheming a way to take out the other in the most spectacular way possible. Eiko could scheme and plan all day, but right now she wanted to crack open Noriko’s shell and try to see if she could find any kind of weakness. In order to do that, force would be needed.

Eiko moved forward in a powerful lunge, looking to really test The Sumo woman’s power in a head to head struggle. Eiko’s Cheshire grin seemed to grow wider as the fight continued, her excitement overwhelming her features with the mere thought of trying to overpower the amazing opponent set in front of her.

Noriko had other plans in mind. With a swift movement, she clasped only one of Eiko’s hands, using the other to adjust herself into a shoulder charge that slipped right inside Eiko’s stance and slammed into her chest like an explosion! The attack caught Eiko off guard and knocked her off balance, with only her strong grip on Noriko’s hand keeping her from toppling over.

Woah…Shell ~Shock~

The surprise blow was something Eiko had not prepared for, but took advantage of nonetheless. Having been sent a few steps backwards, it was only the tight hand lock that kept both fighters together, and with Eiko’s newfound distance, she thought she had a nice shot at Noriko while her defense was hindered. With one massive step forward, the purple punk brought her arm around, looking to slam it against Noriko’s collar in a short ranged clothesline!

Eiko Bando vs Noriko Yamamoto: strength against sumo - Page 2 Empty Re: Eiko Bando vs Noriko Yamamoto: strength against sumo

Noriko stomped her foot down, pivoting her heel to lock in a solid foundation as she drove herself into Eiko like a train sent careening into a solid brick wall. Her muscles flared at the solid form of her opponent, even as she felt the woman's chest compressed against the batter ram that was her shoulder. She sent the woman back, but it hadn't knocked her down, in fact they were holding on by a thread and that thread was her own arm.

The sump held her ground, arm pulled tough, flexing in protest as her opponent clung on. She attempted to pull it free but found Eiko's grip was made of steel and not likely to budge. Twisting her shoulder she gave a hard pull just as the other woman stepped in on her. She understood her mistake just a moment too late, eyes going wide as the clothesline came flying at her.

Her collar screamed I pain as the resounding meaty impact could have easily been confused for chops from the strongest of wrestlers in the league. Her upper body snapped back, her back leg sliding along the floor as she reclined into an uncomfortable arch with Eiko's solid arm lodged right where it had struck her, stopped short of following through completely.

Noriko was frozen like a statue in place, in limbo of standing tall and about to fall over as if she were playing a game of limbo or twister. It was a remarkable display of toughness and balance to have not been taken off her feet immediately after receiving what looked and sounded like a blow that might take taken other women down completely.

Her eye twitched as she peered defiantly under the lip of Eiko's outstretched arm, squeezing the woman's hand while they were still connected. She wasn't in a state to break away, held in place almost like a dipped dancing partner. If Eiko wanted to, there was nothing really stopping her from knocking the sumo down now, nothing save for the dark haired woman's pride perhaps. She was temporarily at the mercy of her foe, hoping they might back off so she could resituate.

Eiko Bando vs Noriko Yamamoto: strength against sumo - Page 2 Empty Re: Eiko Bando vs Noriko Yamamoto: strength against sumo

Noriko was tough. So very tough. Tougher than most opponents Eiko had face previously, which may not be saying much, but considering how much she valued strength it was meant to be a big compliment. The Sumo girl was a clear master of her craft, and it was as if nothing less then a truck could knock this her over! It was a true test of power to even unbalance Noriko, much less actually knock her down.

Eiko’s grip held strong, clasped tightly around the sump’s arms in order to keep from toppling over like a pile that has gotten too tall. Normally, Eiko never had so much trouble staying on her feet in a match, but Noriko had a knack for finding all of her weak points and hitting her when she was shifting her weight, right as her center of balance was shifting and unstable. Perhaps that was something the purple loving woman could learn from Noriko.

Eiko was quick to retaliate against the sumo’s battering ram of a shoulder, and smashed her forearm right across her collar. The resounding clap echoed throughout the arena, so loud it almost made Eiko loosen her grip on her foe’s trapped arm. The bow did not knock down the sturdy woman, but it did have an interesting effect. Rather then fall, Noriko bended to the blow, trapping her in a paradox of standing and falling. One slight nudge, and she would topple over. One decent pull and she would be back to normal. The way she looked, it was indeed as if the two were midway through a dance, and Eiko was dipping the lovely woman.

All of this registered quickly to the woman in sudden control, and a Cheshire grin spread across her face. A mischievous twinkle in her eyes peered back at that defiant gaze.

Could she resist? Of course not!

With a quick jerk of her leg, Eiko moved to sweep whatever balance Noriko still had out from under her in an attempt to topple her over. The purple woman would release her iron grip and let the sumo fall to the floor unassisted, a playful smile on her face the entire time.

Silence fell over the crowd in that moment where Noriko seemed to float between Eiko and the mat. Her white knuckled grip kept her suspended there, but only by a hair. She had held her breath, expecting the fall that never came. The two women locked eyes in perhaps a joint realization over the position they had found themselves in. The sump fidgeted, expecting to be allowed back to her feet… though when a grin washed over Eiko's face she came to understand what would happen next.

“Don't you dare..." Was the only words Noriko had managed to croak out before her legs were hacked out from beneath her. Her backside bounced once on the canvas before she gracelessly fell onto her back, red faced in embarrassment as her opponent looked over her mischievously smiling down from above.

The dark haired sumo sat upright, palms finding the mat to assist her in scooting along her rump away from Eiko. It seemed as though the woman hadn't intended to follow up, but Noriko wasn't about to take that chance. It was hard to hide her flustered face, pushing herself back up to the balls of her bare feet on the canvas while attempting to back herself up to a standing position.

“Cheeky.” She murmured softly, trying to hide her face with the sudden need to brush back a few stray strands of hair from her forehead. The sudden stop was never good. She liked riding momentum and the pace coming to a halt mixed with her broken focus was going to do her no favors. Rather than openly engaging against she would continue to back away, creating some more room to work with.

Eiko Bando vs Noriko Yamamoto: strength against sumo - Page 2 Empty Re: Eiko Bando vs Noriko Yamamoto: strength against sumo

The Face on Noriko’s face was utterly adorable when she realized just what was going through Eiko’s head, and what she said just made it all the better.

Like a comedy tope from a sitcom or cartoon, Eiko mercilessly let her opponent fall to the floor in what was probably only a three-foot drop. Eiko found her mischief quite funny, giggling to herself with a warm smile as Noriko lightly bounced off the canvas with an adorable mixed expression of surprise and embarrassment. The poor girl landed right on her rump, before bouncing off slightly and collapsing onto her back. The whole thing seemed to be entertaining Eiko in a light-hearted way, taking more pleasure in the fact that Noriko didn’t expect to be dropped rather than dropping her.

Noriko, who suddenly felt the need to brush some invisible strands of hair from her face, was making a hasty retreat in the cutest way possible. She was scooching away in a fairly subtle manner, but not so subtle as for Eiko not to notice. The still standing powerhouse walked after Noriko with a pep in her step, still glowing after pulling such a mischievous prank on her foe. Noriko was pretty cute when put on the defensive, and though Eiko was not yet attacking her, she didn’t want her to get too far away to recover. All the While Eiko stared at her with childlike curiosity, as if Noriko was a baby panda behind protective glass.

“Aww, don’t be mad Noriko~ It was all just for fun!” Eiko said as she steadily advanced on her foe, who was finding her way to her legs, “I’m sure you will find a way to trip me up at some point, and then we will have a great big laugh together.”

Eiko was purposefully corralling Noriko into the corner, trying to limit her movements and mobility. It may not have much impact on a sump, but Eiko was willing to see what would happen if Noriko had a little less shoulder room to work with.

Noriko's focus never left Eiko, watching her best she could to read any offensive move the other woman might throw her way. Nothing came however, but she was given no real room to safely rise. She inched back little by little, unable to work the fierce blush on her face as the other woman grinned down at her knowingly.

Slowly though she had worked herself back up, standing at the ready to butt heads again… until he back hit something stiff. The surprise showed on her face immediately, far too concerned with Eiko herself she had let go of all of her ring awareness and now found herself up against the turnbuckles with her foe within an arm's reach of her. That was not good… what a rookie mistake.

“Yeah, really big laughs…” Her brow furrowed as she berated her dumb move in her mind, trying to fight past her fluster and this downward spiral she suddenly found herself locked into. The dark haired sumo raised her hands, palms forward in what looked to be a defensive wall, at the ready to strike out if Eiko encroached upon her space. Her bare feet slowly slipped forward as she started to work her way out of the corner inch by inch, hoping she wouldn't be stopped.

Noriko continued her adorable streak as she slowly backed herself right into a corner unknowingly. The reaction she made once her back bumped the corner post made Eiko want to scoop her up and hug her like her very own teddy bear, but she doubted Noriko would let something like that happen. Despite the disadvantage she was at, she made sure not to make too many more mistakes, watching Eiko’s every move and looking ready to counter any strike Eiko might pull while the sump was on the floor.

However, Eiko simply followed along, closing Noriko in with each step and limiting her movements. Eiko didn’t have the heart to kick Noriko down after dropping her in such a rude manner, but as soon as she found her footing, the woman lowered back down into a standard wrestling stance, her eyes deceptively keen to Noriko’s movements.

As soon as the defensive wall came up, Eiko moved in to smash right up against it! Driving Noriko right back into the corner was the grapplers ultimate goal, looking to smash her right up against the corner post and keep the sump’s options limited. If she managed to succeed, Eiko would try to keep Noriko pinned to the post as she wormed her way closer towards the surprisingly strong fighter. The grappler would even go so far as to jab a quick knee into the sump’s abs to try and weaken her stance.

Noriko had started this match stone faced and stoic, an immovable wall that couldn't be surmounted. In reality she was pretty new to those professional wrestling thing, and while her chops as a sump were remarkable, when it came to long form matches like this against a more knowledgeable opponent her weaknesses started to show like cracks on porcelain.

Leaning left to right made no difference as Eiko matched her like a twisted reflection in a mirror. They had clashed before, Noriko knew they were a near match for one another so attempting to blast past her without a proper stance was going to be an effort of futility. As she could do was wait for an opportunity and hope she could get by. She needed the room to build momentum if she was going to knock this woman on her ass.

Eiko didn't come to strikes, no, she came full forced and bodied, crashing up against Noriko like a tidal wave. The sheer magnitude of the other woman's power found her slamming into the post but unable to trap her just yet. The sumo's palms clamped down on Eiko's shoulders, holding the woman at bay from complete control.

“Guh!” The sharp knee took her by surprise, sputtering out a held breath. That was all Eiko needed to close in the rest of the way, pinning Noriko solidly up against the turnbuckles with her body, leaving the sumo vulnerable.
