[ONE] Round One Match: Lindsay Walker vs Erin Quinn

Erin couldn't stop herself from bouncing in place backstage. She felt as if she had just drank 5 cups of coffee. The redhead would continually peek at the crowd, barely able to wait for the start of her match. She was beyond excited. This was the first wrestling tournament she had ever been in and Erin was determined to give it her all. "Are we starting yet?" She'd ask one of the people backstage, tapping her foot impatiently against the ground. The Irish lass only sighed as she was told she had to still wait five more minutes.

Finally Erin heard I'm Shipping up to Boston start to play throughout the room. Here eyes widened and a smile spread across her face. "Finally! Time to kick some ass!" She shouted as she rushed out from backstage to be greeted by the cheering audience. Wearing her usual purple and black attire, the redhead raced towards the stage, doling out as many high fives as she could on her way. When she got to the ring Erin grabbed the top rope and hopped up, swinging her legs over the rope before landing. She walked to the middle of the ring and started to wave to the crowd before addressing them. "I hope you're all as excited as I am!" She would say, hoping to pump the crowd up even more.

Eventually her music would quiet down and Erin backed into her corner. She then stood to face the entrance, eager to meet her first obstacle of the night. The red head wasn't to concerned as in her mind she knew she could beat whoever was thrown at her.

Lindsay would wait impatiently in the locker room in her wrestling gear, her traditional red leotard and elbow pads. She entered in this stupid tournament to use as a measly stepping stone to prove herself to her rival, Sandy, that she has gotten stronger and that she was better than her now. She didn't care who her opponent was and how she'll beat them but she knows how the match will end, with the poor girl in her arms, limp and unconscious.

Letting out another impatient sigh, she would check her phone one more time before hearing a theme playing. Looking at the tv monitor set up in the locker room, she saw her opponent walking out, all happy and cheerful. She scoffed, that's her opponent? She's cute, she'll give her that, but she's nothing compared to her! Doing some last minute stretches before heading out with a determined face.

As she burst out from backstage, through the arena entrance, strutting down the ramp to the ring, the audience went wild for her. It was only natural for her subjects to greet their queen. Looking at Erin, she smirked as she called out to the redhead, "Are you ready to lose to your Queen?!" Lindsay would then hop onto the ringside and hop over the ropes, into her corner. Pointing at Erin, Lindsay would confidently declare, "I hope you're not expecting to win tonight love, because this match will end with you intertwined with my arms, and knocked out in the middle of this ring!"

Erin checked out her opponent out as she walked towards the ring. Sure they were a bit larger than Erin, but she was determined to prove that she was stronger. The Irish lass raised an eyebrow as Lindsay began to speak before starting to chuckle. "Haha yeah sure. Hate to break it to ya though but I'm about to kick your ass...LOVE." She replied. The red head didn't quite care for her opponent's confidence but she knew it was only a matter of time before it disappeared.

Not bothering to shake hands, Erin just took a few steps towards the center of the ring as she waited for the match to start. So far the butterflies she felt in her stomach had not quieted down but she had since became used to the feeling. "Ok, let's go!" The girl exclaimed as she slammed her fist into her palm. It wasn't long before the bell rang and the match was underway. Erin would start the match swinging, quickly stepping forward and aiming a hard jab towards her opponent's chest. She figured the best defense in this match would be a strong offense, and strength was definitely what she knew her forte was.

Lindsay would smirk at Erin's reply. This girl had some confidence, good. That makes breaking her far more enjoyable. Lindsay would square up with Erin in the middle of the ring and crack her knuckles as Erin slammed her fist into her palm. Just as the bell rang, Lindsay would be taken by surprise with a sudden hard job to her chest! It seemed like this little lass had the same idea she was gonna go for! Lindsay would be surprised, that was for sure, stumbling back a step before snickering.

"Is that really the best you've got? I've taken harder jabs from a preschooler!" Lindsay mocked as she would quickly try to sneak around Erin and snake her arms around Erin's head, going for her signature sleeper hold to wear the Irish wrestler down!

Erin was glad to have caught her foe by surprise. She didn't however appreciate Lindsay's sass. "Not even close pig tails!" The red head yelled. Being confident in her own power, her foe's taunts were easy to just ignore. Before she really had time to follow up, Lindsay was already coming back at her.  As she came forward, Erin responded by taking a step forward and trying to drive her knee into her opponent's gut. She was hoping to really stun her opponent. From there she could follow up with some moves that were a bit more her style. As far as Erin was concerned, this was only a warm up.

As Lindsay tried to sneak behind the Irish lass, she would let out a frustrated grunt as her opponent drove a powerful knee to her gut. This girl was certainly strong, but Lindsay would only consider one person to be able to drive her down to her knees. So with her quick thinking and grit teeth, Lindsay would grab hold of Erin's thigh, preventing her from backing off and throw her head at Erin's with a powerful headbutt, hoping to stun her and shove her to the ropes!

As she did this, Lindsay would scoff and look at Erin before saying in a condescending tone, "How's that taste love? Hope I wasn't too rough?"

Much to Erin's surprise, Lindsay took being kneed in the stomach fairly well. She barely even reacted. Erin's usual smile would slowly straighten out as she realize this match might be a bit harder than she wanted the first round to be. The next thing she knew however, Lindsay was aiming for a headbutt. This was a maneuver that the Irish brawler had seen plenty before, in fact she'd guess maybe in half of her matches. That didn't mean that she was able to completely avoid it though.

Erin brought her hands between her foe's head and leaned back slightly. She was able to reduce the damage to just the back of her hands roughly smacking her in the face, causing her to get a bit teary eyed from the quite sudden hit to her nose. She stumbled back and landed on the ropes and quickly wiped her face. "I'll show you rough!" Erin spat back. She'd lean back against the ropes and slingshot herself at Lindsay. Once she was close enough she'd try to spear her opponent, throwing herself against her foe to bring them down to the mat.

Lindsay growled when Erin brought her hands up to lessen the impact of her headbutt. Stumbling back slightly due to the recoil of the headbutt but kept a close eye on Erin's movement. Hearing the Irish girl's claim, Lindsay would watch as Erin would charge at her with a powerful spear, aiming to take the both of them down! Normally Lindsay loved taking matches down to the mat, it made things much easier for her when she had her arms wrapped around her opponent's head and slowly choke them out with her powerful sleeper hold. But taking a spear to the chest didn't really seem her fancy so Lindsay did what anyone would've done and quickly sidestep.

If successful, Lindsay would quickly grab Erin's extended arm and twist it around and stand behind her, wrenching her arm in behind the back armlock! Twisting Erin's arm hard, Lindsay would say, "You really showed me. This really your definition of rough, love?"

Erin was ready to take her opponent down to the mat but it seemed that they were able to sidestep the quick tackle attempt. Instead the Irish lass found herself with her arm painfully bent behind her back. The red head grit her teeth, trying to put on a tough face, cursing under her breath as she tried in vain to unbend her arm. Erin still wasn't use to being restrained and now realized how useful knowing some counters would be. Instead she had to think quickly if she wanted to escape before her arm started really hurting.

"No...THIS is." Erin yelled. She raised her leg and would then try to slam her heel against Lindsay's knee. She didn't know if the move would work but right now it was the only effective thing she could think to do.
