Kindred Spirits

For a moment, Spider was worried she might have to take Ryo on alone, at least for a little while. Not that she didn’t think herself capable of beating him - she was certain she could break every little bone in his measly body if she got the whim. But, from this short little meeting, she got the impression that he deserved so much more than what she could give on her lonesome, and she wanted to make sure their time together was maximized.

To do that, she needed her new friend. Fortunately, Samiya’s timing was impeccable.

She turned to Samiya and let out a surprised gasp as she neared, waving back to her dear, longtime friend of less than ten minutes. With her face turned away from Ryo, however, she didn’t bother to hide the glint in her eyes and the curling smile. This whole thing was looking to be satisfying beyond words.

”Hey there!” She chirped back. Now, it was all about the setup. First, she had to reinforce the idea that she and Samiya knew each other long-term. ”Should’ve known you’d come by here, sooner or later. Always working hard.”

Good, good. Next, she’d start to lead to the possibility of Samiya joining them, while introducing them. ”Ryo, this is Samiya - she’s pretty much my BFF.” By some miracle, Spider managed to not gag when she said that last part. ”Sam, this is Ryo - we were about to do a little sparring together, show each other some cool moves. Well, more for me than him, but…”

And a little flattery at the end. Stoke the ego. Perfect.

The sudden appearance of this new girl, Samiya, while unexpected, wasn't entirely unwelcome. The girl, while perhaps not a total bombshell like Kikuchi, was still damn cute, short and stocky, and looking in incredible shape.

Grinning and rubbing the back of his head, he walked up to the ropes, waving hello.

"Heya, Ryo Kamiya! I'm just helping your beautiful friend here get used to being in the ring and stuff. You uh...wanna join us?"

Game face on, Samiya had to suppress the urge to clap at how well Spider played the long-time friend. For someone she’d known for all of ten minutes, she was doing a great job of making it seem they’d known each other for a while. Of course, the ‘always working hard’ thing was a good guess based on her build, but still…

Good job, one she’d have to compliment the blonde on later. If nothing else, managing to say it was more for Spider’s good than Ryo’s without bursting into laughter was Oscar worthy.

And then the man himself came a bit closer, giving the Schoolgirl Assassin a closer look at her soon to be victim. Not impressed, she still managed a wave back as he asked if she’d like to join them.

Samiya didn’t even have to try faking enthusiasm – the grin came naturally as Ryo dropped the invitation. That had been easy. She’d expected her ‘BFF’ to do the asking, having the mark do it instead just made it all the easier. Wondering what Spider thought about that (or how obvious Ryo had fallen for her), she grabbed a rope and hopped up to the apron.

What she wanted to say was “I thought you’d never ask”.

What she actually said was…

”Sure, I’m in. Some sparring’ll make a good break from the weights.”

Ducking through the ropes, rolling her shoulders back, her eyes flicked from Ryo to Spider and back again.

”And I could use the practice too. So, what’s the set-up?”

Oh, god. Could a man be any more pathetic?

Spider had thought she would have to work Ryo up to letting Samiya join them, that she’d have to cajole him a bit. It wouldn’t have been hard, of course, she could work him silly putty. But, bare minimum, a little subterfuge would’ve been in order. A laugh here, a playful suggestion there, an implication that would never come to pass, something like that.

But no. No. He wandered into the trap himself. It couldn’t have worked better if it was scripted. If all the men in Tension were this gullible, she’d have to look into getting a few matches. It would be a great way to pad out her record

”Oh, that’s perfect.” The truest thing she’d said all day. ”Setup, though…”

He probably was stupid enough to go for a two-on-one, thinking that rolling around with two hot women would be fun even if he was the one they were ganging up on him. Tempting, but unnecessary. Spider didn’t have to play this like her target was a complete idiot, even if he really was.

”Well, I have a three way coming up next month. It might be fun to practice that, see what it’s like to work against two enemies.” Spider began to work her way behind Ryo, her cruel smile growing the second she was out of his sight, then disappearing if he’d happen to glance her way. ”If Ryo is okay with it, of course.”

Make him feel in control, make him feel like the decisions were his, and then…

There was an alternate universe, somewhere in the multiverse, where Ryo was actually intelligent enough to see this coming, and realize he had to leave the situation immediately. Even better, there was another universe where he and Kikuchi were having some hot and flexible sex, which is the best universe.

This however, was not that universe, because life wasn't fair. Instead, this universe's Ryo, while not ENTIRELY unaware that this was a bit...unlikely, decided to just roll with it.

"Sure! When is a three way not fun, right?"

Perfect. Well, Spider had it right there. This couldn’t have been easier if they’d given Ryo a script.

Almost a little too easy but… Well.

Well, he had no reason to suspect anything, she supposed. Maybe he was an idiot but Ryo was just taking them at their word. That didn’t make him stupid, just honest. Either way, he was a walking victim but part of Samiya almost pitied him.

He was going to be hurt, hurt a lot probably, and she was going to be part of it.

The Schoolgirl Assassin watched Spider circling into position, nodding along – a three way was more than fine with her too – followed shortly by their target’s more vocal agreement.

Glancing from one to the other, Samiya suddenly beamed as if she’d had an idea.

”Hey Ryo, want to start things off?”

Stepping forward, she raised her hands in the universal invitation for a test of strength – one that she was absolutely confident she could win. He wasn’t going to be weak but he didn’t look amazingly strong either. Samiya, by contrast, was amazingly strong and she was pretty sure she could take him down.

It’d also be a nice distraction from whatever Spider had in mind, though Samiya was hoping she’d hold off for a minute. At least until she’d put Ryo on his knees. That’d be a fun way to start.

Spider, as was her way, had much less kind thoughts to think about Ryo. She was quite sure the man - if such a word could be used for him - was a complete idiot, and she was looking forward to getting to the point where she could tell him so.

But that was a little while in the coming. For now, she had a show to watch.

Samiya was strong. Stronger than Spider herself, at least, though that wasn’t saying too much by itself. She had a sinewy body, long and lean with little meat. Good for bending and bending others, moving around the ring, weaving about blows. Her new old friend was much bulkier in her build, though a casual glance wouldn’t tell the truth of it.

She wondered if Ryo would notice. She doubted it. Highly.

Still, just in case a little extra edging was needed, she moved over to their side as Samiya offered a test of strength. "Oh, gutsy. Let's see what Ryo can do..."

Well this was taking an interesting turn. He went from having just an incredible leggy woman to adding a second woman. Shorter, bigger muscles, but still attractive. This was turning into a very interesting day!

Swinging his arms, adjusting his shorts, Ryo shrugged in response, bouncing on his feet as Samiya stepped up, offering to lock up with him.

"Yeah sure, let's give it a shot cutie!"

He replied, getting his arms up and moving closer so they could lock up, quickly noticing that Samiya had bigger arms than he did, but, still eager, he pressed on!

Instant support coming from Spider, she’d anticipated that. It was also quite easy to get Ryo to agree, the male wrestler stepping up with nonchalance to accept the challenge. Eagerly at that – she’d be curious to see how long that lasted.

And any pity she’d been feeling (not much if any) had just left the building with that comment.

Cutie. Samiya was going to be taking that one out of his hide, just wait and see.

”Let’s give it a shot,” She echoed, somehow managing to keep smiling despite that, as she interlaced her fingers with his. Locking up, the Schoolgirl Assassin started off the Test of Strength relatively gently. Like she would have done if this was actually just three friends sparring.

In this case, though, she had two less pleasant motives in mind. She wanted to lure Ryo into a false sense of security, which meant playing nice without hiding the fact that she was packing a lot of power in her upper body and arms. Even he had to have noticed her thick biceps – trying to pretend she was some swooning maiden just wasn’t really possible for Samiya. She also wanted to get a taste of how strong he was, because some people were deceptively strong.

Oh, and naturally, she wanted to let him get his hopes up before slowly, methodically crushing them to powder under her heel. One step at a time, right.

Once she felt she’d got his measure, the pocket powerhouse would go to work, stepping up her pressure slowly but steadily and doing her best to roll her hands up over his. That bent the wrists back at a painful angle but, equally, it would let her start to push him down to his knees.

Throughout the process, her eyes would remain fixed on his as she put on a show of strength.

Looking for that surprise at a ‘girl’ overpowering him.

‘Cutie’.

There is no way to accurately describe the effort it took Spider not to burst out laughing when she heard that. It was nigh-Herculean, not only because of the silliness, but the inevitable result. She’d know Samiya all of five minutes, but even so, she could make a very good guess on how her diminutive comrade would react to that little sobriquet.

She kept quiet, though. For now. Though she made a mental note to tease Samiya with it at the first opportunity.

For now, though, it was all about encouragement. She closed in from behind Ryo as he struggled against, looking on at Samiya with feigned surprised. ”Oh, wow, Sami.” She giggled, though there was a hint of her typical edge in it. ”You’ve really been working that upper body, huh?”

Her gaze turned to Ryo, looking at him from the corner of her eye, her smile growing more crooked by the second. ”Not having trouble, are we?”
